Just had a great burger for lunch. Half price until 4:00 and by Copenhagen standards a great deal! Perfectly cooked slightly pink in the center, nice soft bun. Highly recommend if you need a meat fix!

The location is convenient, the decor is cozy and tends to draw a lot of people on dates. Service was also decent enough. Friendly, chipper, and decently attentive. I opted for their normal burger which runs around 99 DKK with a side of Onion Rings which where 30 KR (it's one of those places pulling the whole obnoxious charge for a burger, charge for a fries, charge for sauce routines). Then a large coke, for which they pull the age old over-priced stunt charging well over 50kr for it. The meat in the burger was properly cooked and high quality. The rest of the burger was unremarkable with an ok-bun. It was toasted, which I'm not a fan of, and nothing special one way or the other. The onion rings were very good when fresh, but a full order of onion rings as a side resulted in a grand total of five normal-sized onion rings. The real killer though was the 50 minutes from the time we ordered to when our food arrived. All for a relatively simple order: 3 burgers, 2 orders of french fries and 2 orders of onion rings. The restaurant was busy, but not terribly busy and it was obvious the kitchen was just painfully slow. Due to the ambiance and location it also seems a very popular place for first and second dates...though from the look of it, most of those dates were disastrous. With so many burger places around town, these guys may have a decent enough burger, but everything else about the experience falls on its face.

Perfectly fine burger for the price (remember, this is Copenhagen). I had the London, large size, which is about a half pound burger. I asked for medium but it came out more like well done. The onion rings were pretty good. Not greasy at all with a light breading. The ambiance was of an upscale American steak house, complete with a nice 60's soundtrack. The main reason for the mediocre review was the service. Generally pretty slow. Slow to take my order, slow to bring out the food, incredibly slow to bring my check. In fact, they never once checked with me for almost an hour after serving my food if I needed anything. I had to try several times to wave someone down as they rushed past me. Based on comments I overheard from other patrons, I wasn't alone. Hopefully the staff can pick up their game a bit, because this place is otherwise pretty solid.

My friend and I ate at XO Burger for New Year's, and we are really glad that we did. The menu was perfect. For starters, we got both Grilled Prawns in Pinot Noir and saffron, as well as Steak Tartare. The prawns were so yummy. I wish that there were more than 4. Our main course was a choice between Rib Eye or fish. We both chose the rib eye. I would've preferred mine to be medium rare, but they were so busy that all the steaks were cooked the same. It was excellent steak. My friend ate her entire steak, but it was too big for me to finish. Dessert was creme brulee and chocolate mousse. You can never go wrong with those for dessert. The wine was chosen for us, and it was paired excellently. We're definitely going back.

Stumbled across this place during my first few hours in Copenhagen and took a chance. Service was slow and the hamburger was overcooked, uninteresting and expensive.

Dry steak, sloppy fries, disturbingly red chicken wings and untasty salad! The atmosphere was lacking and service was below average! All in all - super disappointing!

Wow I was here this summer. And I really hope the 'real chef' was on vacation because my burger was rather raw then medium and it wasn't just mine. What made me more sad was a lady who was sitting outside with her friends made the waitress return her dish TWICE and the third time she didn't want to eat anymore. She was really pissed I could tell. It was either raw or something because I saw her cut off the meat and rolling her eyes. It was just terrible to look at if a person is just hungry and cant enjoy the food while the rest of the group is eating. Nope. Won't return. Too bad.

It has been a little while since I visited this restaurant but I remember it so well because the meat was absolutely fantastic! The reason for only 4 instead of 5 stars is the service. It wasn't exactly bad in comparison to other Scandinavian restaurants, just lacking the interest you expect from your waiter and a bit slow. It did take a while to get the food, but I was informed of beforehand and willing to wait and that is not what I'm having an issue with when it comes to the service. I ordered a huge (600g) Chateaubriand for myself (yes, I do love meat) and my partner ordered a burger called Meat Lover with a patty, tenderloin and bacon. The Chateaubriand was perfectly red, just like I want it and the burger was juicy and big! We both really loved the food! It took us a while to be able to eat it all (to be honest, I actually was unable to finish the end parts of mine, embarrassing, I know). So the conclusion is: Great meat, a bit pricy but worth it, slow service For a night out for 2 it was great!

Left after 30 mins. Ordered a cocktail and dinner that never came. No apologies and lots of staff running around without acknowledging me. Really disappointed and gave plenty of time for someone to even explain there were issues. No recommend nor will i go back.
