This was another one of Copenhagen's cosy upmarket casual restaurants, which I love so much. I was looking forward to the menu of the day and was glad we had booked a table. Even though we were the second group in, after 30 minutes the place was packed! The service was a bit too casual and needs to be more clue up as both the white and red wine we wanted to order was out after she spent a while looking in the store room, and coffees we got at the end of the meal were definitely not "espressos"! The food, however, was lovely! We were served homemade crackers with some sort of herby cheese dip. I got the fish ceviche (salmon, scallops and squid) which looked beautiful and minimalistic and tasted fresh and light with the help of the drops of lemon curd reduction. I got the pork roast served with Jerusalem artichokes and root vegetables which was delicious, rich and served in a meaty gravy. The pork was tender and the Jerusalem artichokes were perfectly done! Although I was pretty full by the end of the main, I was tempted by their carrot cake which was moist and light! The food and atmosphere makes this little restaurant a great place to have a spontaneous fancy dinner. Please book ahead as it's quite popular!

I would like to personally thank all the residents of Copenhagen for being in Roskilde this weekend, allowing me and a friend to drop in for an early dinner at 20A without a reservation on a Saturday night. This place is an absolute delight, and a warmly welcomed new addition to one of my favorite (of many) Nørrebro streets, Ravnsborggade. With ample outdoor seating in prime afternoon/evening summer sunlight, it's easy to waste away the day over glasses of really fantastic hipster wines (take a look at the labels and you'll see what I mean). Like their sister shop on Christianshavn (Sankt Annæ 8, my [other] favorite wine bar in town), the concept here is *simplicity* with food. Because they have a kitchen at 20A, the SA8 Dish of the Day concept has grown to two choices in some cases, plus a starter, and everything is prepared to perfection. On Saturday the dishes were a lovely fresh cod, and confit de canard, both absolutely flawless. Our waiter suggested wines and was so sure of himself that we threw caution to the wind and let him decide for us (a rare occurrence if we're being honest) ,and he did not lead us astray. Overall, the experience was easy, cozy, delicious, and excellent value for money (two glasses of wine, a starter, and a main course was about 300kr). This place is easily going to become a staple of the neighborhood, and will undoubtedly be one of my new local haunts. Pro-tip: not sure you can down a whole bottle of wine (who are we kidding, we know you will, but if you're trying to be prudent)? These guys do it right by letting you order by the glass, but, if you happen to have 5 glasses of the same wine, charging you their bottle price. Makes for a very affordable boozy evening, without looking like a total lush. ;)

Talk about fine dining in Denmark! This place was recommended by my fellow yelper Linda which I met in Denmark as well! She suggested this place and it did not disappoint! 20 A is special in a sense their menu changes every week, you usually do not know what is on the next week's menu until the Friday before the new week. Came here on a weekday at 7 and it was already fairly busy, we managed to find a spot outside and sat out on a nice breezy day. (Did I mention Denmark sunset doesn't happen until like 10:30 at night during summer?!) I do not remember the exact names of the dishes I ordered as they are in Danish, but I went with a glass of Rose, Asparagus cold soup and a filet pair with a cream sauce. The soup was surprising very good as I don't recall trying cold soup before, but the flavour was great and it was delicious! It did take maybe three scopes before I got used to the cold soup. Filet was delicious! The filet was grilled on the outside to perfection so you get the crispy feeling on the outside while the inside was still very soft, great texture in general. Fresh fish filet with a great cream sauce were such a great combination. Price wise, it is on a higher end, however, the quality, flavour, display and attention to details of the food, I thought it was worth the higher price tag.

This is just about the cutest place in Norrebro, a neighborhood that is chock full of adorable places. It's a french restaurant/wine bar, and is candle-lit. On a warmer night, you can sit outside on the cafe-like tables and imagine you are along the Senne on a gorgeous summer night. Inside, the ambiance is just as captivating -- candlelit, with a map on the cieling, and a beatiful backsplash of wine crates, candles, and fancy old wine bottles. The furniture is an eclectic mix of park tables and chairs, so you get a very cool indoor/outdoor vibe. The smell when you walk in is delicious in a way I cannot describe with words. THE perfect date spot. The food and wine are out of this world. We wandered here on our last night in Copenhagen around 10pm. Nothing else on Ravnsborggade was open for dinner, but the awesome staff told us they could give us a cheese and charcuterie plate, and dessert, and of course wine. Wine and cheese for dinner? Yes please! The cheese and charcuterie plate was perhaps the best I have ever had, and trust me, I have had many a cheese plate. There were 4-5 cheeses, 2 sausages (a wild duck, which was smokey and out of this world, and a boar). There was a chicken liver rillette served with pickled onions, amazing, tender, and flavorful. A wild boar pate served with cornichons was also amazing. Everything of course was served with a delicate Danish mustard, with toasted baguette. It was divine. Dessert was a chocolate mousse sprinkled with hazelnuts and dried berries, and a rhubarb pudding, topped with chopped hazelnuts. They were decadent but not overly-sweet. The wait staff were so friendly and accommodating, and even stayed open past closing for us to finish our desserts. It was one of my favorite meals in Copenhagen, and I wish I could've come here for a full meal.

A French pearl I often come back to. Good for both a spontaneous Tuesday and Saturday night dinner. Choice of 2 main courses, with a new meat everyday and fish of the week. You can se the menue on the homepage. I use to have the fish and it have always been super! Warm and welcoming, to a very good price.

Copenhagen is an expensive place to eat, and this place is not the cheapest in town. However, compared to what you get, it's actually fair. The specials are always interesting, and the wine is awesome. You might need to book in advance, and make sure to get a beer or a drink afterwords in one of the many great places right around the corner.

So hip, yet welcoming. The perfect neighborhood spot. They happily squeezed us in early (we didn't have a reservation), which was super nice. The food was amazing (pear/truffle puree served with cheese, I'm looking at you), the atmosphere warm. Everyone there (including servers) seemed to be having a great time. Highly recommended for an authentic neighborhood experience... I wish I had a place like this near where I live!

After my third visit, I think they deserved an awesome review. The prices and staff are equally friendly. The food are tasty. The environment is cozy, we need more of these places in Nørrebro! I took my visitors here who were low on budget so Pluto was not an option but they were super pleased with this "french-nordic" cuisine. One down side, reservations is a must!
