Love, love, love! It helped that a Prince song was playing when we walked up. It is across the bridge away from the main drag. There is something for everyone. We picked strangas & do not have any regrets. Pretty comparable to gyros in Greece. They are extremely generous with tzatziki sauce. It is crowded but we were able to find a seat no problem. Picnic table seating makes you feel like a part of the party. So much fun.

this review is for rort in particular. the service was friendly and quick, but the whole idea of eating these smorrebrod with your hands... it feels like a trap to look foolish. i bit in, my hands already a mess from the toppings and sauces, and the fish wouldn't come apart easily, leaving me with the flash choice to either eat it all in one go, or abandon my attempt and spit it out. i ate it all at once. it was a mess. i wouldn't go here. the ingredients were quality, but you can find cheaper, less gimmicky smorrebrod lots of places.

Just a 10-minute walk across the bridge from the bustling Nyhavn area, you'll find a vibrant outdoor food haven offering some of Copenhagen's best bites. Set by the water, this lively space is packed with top-notch food options. We indulged in the famous tacos from Sanchez and delicious open-faced sandwiches from Rort--everything was fantastic! The salmon one was my most favorite. I highly recommend skipping the more touristy spots in Nyhavn and heading here instead. It's a relaxed, self-serve setup with food trucks and plenty of seating to chill. In the evenings, they even have a DJ and host various events, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great food.

Super cute outdoor market/food stalls. Just over the bridge of the main touristy areas and worth stopping by if you're on your way to Christiania. There is a ton of variety in the stall offerings between food and drinks. Overall fairly expensive but probably not so much more than the city itself. They have bathrooms and a great amount of seating, which is a plus.

Fun open air food court on the canal with a number of options from pasta to burgers to Indian food to Greek to plant based to fish and chips or mussels and fries to bahn mi and fried chicken. There's basically something here for everyone. There are also various stands where you can get a beer, wine or mixed drink, so I imagine it gets pretty fun at night. When we arrived there was a DJ playing some music and a mixed size crowd. It was a nice way to grab a bite, hang out and listen to some music.

I really loved eating here several times during my recent stay in Copenhagen. It's a nice atmosphere sitting outside lounging around near the river in sight of the pedestrian bridge. It's great if you have different kinds of eaters in your group. You can order and pick your food up from one of the several restaurants and just eat it from any table. There are also great selections of wines and beers from the several bars. It's a very easy to walk from the New harbor area and really opens up your close by eating options if you are staying in the area. I really enjoyed the Vegan Organic food at Organic Bobo and the Dal from Grod that you can have Vegan as well. Coffee Collective has great oat milk lattes. Try a beer or an amazing and popular French Rose that you can have by the bottle or glass from one of the wine bars and sit and talk and people watch and just relax.

Copenhagen needs a street food market now that Kødbyens Mad & Marked closes, and Papirøen is also demolished. This place is a bad replica, but it will have to do for now. They don't have many selections when it comes to food, but strangely, it's low-to-mid range restaurants who open food booths in here, instead of the usual food truck people. Perhaps it's the reason why service is rather slow, queues are extremely long, and portions are *ahem* you know it. At least food truck people are used to dealing with these kinds of rush customers when the sun is out. But hey, I'll take what I can have. Until a new street food market opens, this will have to do.

Came upon here after taking a break from riding our bikes. Very relaxing outdoor seating. Many different variety to offer from each food truck. Prices were inexpensive, however most truck only take credit card, no cash. I went to Grod for their vegan menu. Portabella mushroom risotto which was very good. Afterward you can relax on the hanging hammocks or take a stroll along the water.
