Would have got 3.5 stars because the burgers were actually quite tasty and you get more fries than a single human can eat. Add to that, they use kosher salt on the fries and it should be a 4.... But... Service seemed a tad odd.... And... Though they could teach the Americans about how to build a good burger, the patty could have been bigger. My daughter called it 'a salad on a bun with meat'. I liked the chewy bun (held it all together) but the natives use knives and forks and maybe that is the key. I liked it. Not much else on the menu. The tzatziki and homemade bread looked good. There were a few other sandwiches listed but beef and chicken burgers ruled.

Three stars is right for this place. It's a solid and not-too-expensive place with a great location, and for some reason it is often quiet, so when everywhere else is full, you know you can go here. Don't expect anything great, but you will have a place to sit for a few hours and watch the world go by outside. This place has been around forever, apparently when my mum and dad were dating in the seventies they would go here! It definitely has a vibe of used-to-be-cool but I still find the movie stills hanging all around the place pretty neat.

I tend to end up here whenever I'm out shopping with my mom. Not because it's a good place far from it. It's just tradition, see? Klaptræet is a place that I'd never visit on my own. It's like a cafe in suburbia, you know, the ones that are decent enough, but definitely not more than that! I mean, yeah, sure, okay, snore.
