Came here for brunch with a friend. We wanted to sit outside and the place looked pretty appropriate. Both of us ordered combos mine had salmon, bread, juice and a cappuccino. The other option was getting the buffet, and after I saw the plate and waited for over 30 minutes to get my food I could tell you it makes much more sense to do that, since you will have the same quality/freshness of the food, will probably get it much faster and as much as you want. My food was decent but nothing remarkable. I believe there must be better brunch options in Copenhagen, but if you are looking for a quick coffee outdoors and no wait this is a good option. Centrally located, and easy to access the shopping areas afterwards.

Today was the second time that I have visted Cafe Stella, and it was also the second time I left Cafe Stella without ever getting any service or food for that matter. The first time we went, we went for brunch. The brunch table is placed right when you enter, and the place was so crowded. It did not look appetizing, instead rather tourist-trap-y... we waited to get seated, but nothing happened. Indtead we got pushed out of the way by waiters who then proceeded to ignore us when we asked for a table. We decided to just leave. Today it was a quiet day, and as I had received a gift certificate for coffee and cake, we decided to give the place a second chance. The place wasn't busy at all this time, but it was more or less the same story. Rude servants who ignored us, and when my husband asked for one to take our order, she just pointed at another waiter and said he will come deal with it. The waiter never came over, and when my husband walked over to him to ask him to take our order he told my husband to sit down and wait for him. After waiting for 20 minutes for service in a near empty cafe with waiters walking around without even acknowledging our presence, we decided to leave - again. So, lesson learned. There are enough cozy cafe's in the area and on the street even, don't waste your time trying to be seen by the staff at Cafe Stella.

My experience was pretty consistent with others at Stella. I ordered a burger, which was pretty good, and fries which were nothing special. The ambiance is pretty good as well, but the service was slow and lacking. Even after making direct eye contact, if I didn't explicitly ask to order, nothing would have happened. I was dining alone, so observed the staff. The bartenders were very busy, but it seemed like the wait staff just loitered and wandered around not really knowing what it means to wait tables. Bad service, so pass on Stella.

Went for brunch and not impressed at all. The food is below average and the service was not good either. Find another place, pay a bit more and get a better experience. Finally they don't take card or MobilePay but only cash. Something they didn't tell us when we came. I never have cash on me. It's 2019 so you should not need to have cash on you. We had to go to an ATM and draw out money to pay. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Was hungry after a long day out with 3 friends. No other place around had a table for four so when we walked past Stella and they had a table for four we went for it even tho their reviews was not that good. We ordered coffee and cake for all four of us. After waiting for 20 mins I went to the bar and asked if they had table service. The answer was that they did have table service so I got a waiter to come with me to my table. Thirty minutes later we walked out since nothing happened. I also talked to the people sitting at a table beside us and they had also been waiting for over 30 minutes. When I walked up to the bar and told them we were leaving they did bot even comment on it. No apology, nothing. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

I went here with a friend couple of weeks ago for weekend brunch (Saturday). The attractive price was our main reason to chose to place since someone was on budget. I was ready for disaster, but turned out it was OK. Like OK for the price I paid - a sign that I have lived too long in Scandinavia? The service was a bit slow but because the place was filled to the brim with people - obviously looking for bargain brunch like us. It wasn't a valid reason to abandon customers, of course - but hey, we're in Copenhagen. The buffet was decent, filled with the essentials although the scrambled eggs was a bit soggy (they were always soggy, somehow - have yet to find place that make perfect scrambled eggs). There were sausages, those meatballs, potatoes and all the thing you usually found on a brunch plate somewhere with higher price tag, only this one is an all-you-can-eat Do come here if you have serious urge to fill up your belly, but if you're more about quality than quantity, maybe other brunch places are better.

This isn't really a thorough review, because my experience stopped after 20 minutes, but here it goes anyway.. After walking around outside in the freezing cold and rain for hours, trying to see all the main sights of the city, I was frozen solid cold and looking to have a relaxing meal and warm up. It took me forever to decide where to go and I finally just stopped in here. I think at the point of me walking in here, I was already far beyond delirious and exhausted. I waited and waited and waited. After 10 minutes, the host finally brought and menu and said he'd send his colleague over...another 10 minutes go by... still nobody had come by. They did have the weekend brunch set up with various fruits, salads and cold meat, as well as a full menu, but the wait was too long. I didn't have the patience to wait longer at that moment in time and so there my experience ended. While looking at the menu, it's typical as are all the overpriced menus in Kobenhavn, 90-160 dkr for most items. If the service was better, I would have stayed, but oh well. Live and learn

This was our first stop in Copenhagen and after 7 hours of travelling we were starving. I ordered a healthy brunch compared to other places I've been during my stay in Copenhagen the food is okay. The staff was very friendly. We came here because of the Copenhagen Card which gave us a nice discount so the price was also okay.
