Impressed by the reviews I decided to give this place a try but honestly, it was a bad idea. This is for sure a tourist trap, in the middle of the shopping street. I ordered a Shawarma sandwich with fries and drink for 79 DKK. Meat tasted like clove, bread was prepackaged and after toasted very hard, fried were frozen and from the supermarket. Staff was rude and I'm not sure about the hygiene of the place. Certainly will not come back.

Shawarma Sandwich Combo of a sandwich with plenty of meat, double-fried fries that were extra crispy and moist in the middle, and a Coke for less than 80DKK - makes for affordable, somewhat healthy, fast food a in busy centralized pedestrian mall. Six Dolmas for 30DKK. In Europe, Ketchup and Mayo mixed together is the typical dipping sauce for fries. The mall and it's side streets are especially busy on weekends and is great for walking and people watching. You can go from Tivoli Gardens on one end to Nyhaven on the other in about half an hour. Restaurant was clean with two upstairs (front and back) and first floor seating. Sun-Dried Tomato and Pepper purée on each table to allow you to burn your palette. Napkin dispensers on each table.

Good frigging falafel but also insane good chili sauce to put on it. To quote Dick Valentine from the Electric Six, these guys aren't just calling it in - they're doing it right. It's not a date joint - it's frigging falafel, but damned it's good.

My first meal in Copenhagen was a Shawarma Sandwich at Falafel-House. Reasonably priced, the food was also quite tasty. They prepare the main sandwich with the meat and then you can add on onions and cole slaw/cabbage as well as a couple of other toppings yourself at the end. Definitely recommended for an affordable, quick meal in the city.

Decent shawarma-based restaurant. The staff was not particularly friendly or helpful, but not outright rude, either. I would rate my lamb shawarma and hummus at a solid "B". Good for a quick outdoor bite and people watching in Copenhagen's city-centre.

So the Shwarma was supposed to be marinated oxe-lamb meat.. I'm thinking more like roadkill. It reminded me of Swedish moose meat, which I hate because it's totally dry and you have to chew it for 20 minutes and your jaws end up aching. 96 (!!) DKK for a plate with some hummus and salad. The guy behind the counter must've had a bad day or something, ok so it's Monday, but still he seemed pretty annoyed judging by the way slapped the ingredients onto the plate. Sauce flying all over the place. I really don't get the four or five star reviews.. or even the three star reviews.. Including a bottle of water the entire meal ended up costing me about 150 SEK, which around double what I pay back home. Ok, so the place is on a side-street from the main shopping drag, so maybe I should've expected this, but still way overpriced. My suggestion is to avoid this place or at least the Shwarma plate.

Stumbling out from a bar and feeling hungry after gulping ginormous amount of alcohol late at night? Worry not, this place can be your savior when you're in the strøget area in the Copenhagen centrum. Mina K tipped me that this is the place to get fries and fries were what we got last night (actually an extra falafel for me which was also very good!) and I must concur to her review that the fries are really really good. Well, not as good as the duck-fat fried copper & wheat fries from the Papirøen stall, but this is like the cheaper alternative of that one. Whatever it was, it's an option to fill up the tank so that the alcohol won't splosh around in your stomach after such hard time "partying" with your friends in town. Cheap as it is and good as you can get. Really, what else do you really want?

Who would have thought that this would be the place to get the best French Fries in Copenhagen? I have brought 4 different parties of people in here, just to have them taste their fries, and they've all agreed with me. They're simply the best. Their secret is double-frying them! Also, people might disagree with me on this point, but I find their Kebaps and Dürums extremely tasteful and well-made. The quality of both their Beef-Shawarma and Chicken-Shawarma is really good. This is one of my favorite places to go for a kebab in Downtown Copenhagen. Therefore, due to their high quality of meat, and their fries which are the best in Copenhagen, I've granted them a Five star review in the category of a quick fast food restaurant. Don't expect an epiphany (maybe a little one regarding the fries), but you'll be assured quality middle eastern fast food.

Probably the worst shawarma in Copenhagen. There is literally nothing but meat and iceberg salad in the durum. And it costs over 50kr. Wtf

Great central location and reasonably priced for a filling meal. Pretty yummy but wouldn't go out of my way to this spot. Great if you just happen to be nearby and want something quick. The space is kept clean and the booths are cozy. Would definitely recommend trying the sundried tomato sauce on the tables. It has a bit of a kick in the after taste but totally took the food the next level.
