Oh KB3. The unintentional part of the story of my Copenhagen trip. We were looking to go out and my friend had looked up and found a club that places deep house all night. We were all excited to see what the scene in Copenhagen was so we headed out. My friend couldn't quite recall the clubs name and said it was KB something. A quick search and I saw KB3 and she was like yea that must be it. Our biggest mistake was not reading the reviews. So word of caution. If you are out to go for a deep house night, it is KB18 that you are searching for and not KB3. Easy mistake to make. As for the club, lots of hip hop and some dancehall here and there. It is really crowded. On relooking at the reviews of the place after we paid cover and went inside a noted a description saying "packed sweaty and loud hip hop". That is an absolutely spot on description for it. If you are into main stream hip hop think 2chain and want an environment where lots of peeps order champagne bottles and packed. Then this spot is for you and probably 4 or 5 stars. Unfortunately in our case it was an honest mistake coming here.

Purchased a $18 ticket for one of their events and was never told that I would have to pay for a coat check. Overpriced drinks. No one was even there. Hyped up the event too much said it was "sold out." Will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone. Staff was extremely rude as well and told my friends and I to "calm down" when we questioned their coat policy. If you pay for a ticket for a mind you empty event coat check should be included or at least mentioned in the event description. Ridiculous.

I've been here the past two Saturdays and had a ton of fun. This place is one of the top clubs in Copenhagen and you can see that in their prices.. Cover charge is 100 kroner with a 25 kroner coat check. thats 125 kroner before you even walk into the door. Average cocktail is 85 kroner but neverthless delicious. This place has a huge bar with tons of people of Saturday nights . Music is usually decent but it usually gets to crowded that it gets uncomfortable. Nevertheless, good mix of people go here from international students to locals. If you are looking for a solid night and to drop a good couplr of bucks, KB3 is the place to go.

Hot, sweaty....great place if you like to R&B and hip hop. Waqar the DJ is one of my favorites in the city. He really knows how to mix. The drinks are only ok, but the music and atmosphere is why you should be coming here.

I am an international (an American male, 32) traveling to Denmark solo. Decided to check KB3 out given that it is listed one of the "top clubs" in Copenhagen. I am pretty clean cut and well behaved and not particularly hideous or anything, nor was I drunk or anything like that. I was wearing nice jeans and a button down. I showed up at 11:50pm which is pretty early by Copenhagen standards but still was forced to wait an hour or more in line. Every person in front of me got in. Then I got to the front after more than an hour of waiting and the bouncer asked me where I was from and said, "Who are you with?" and I said I was an international and traveling solo so I was with nobody, just wanted to check out the club and get a few drinks or whatever. He said they had a "birthday party" and they couldn't let everyone in (he said they have a 'certain clientele' which I am guessing didn't include solo traveling males in their 30s). But for whatever reason they let in plenty of drunk and creepy solo Danish dudes wearing hoodies (one right in front of me got in, and he was super creepy and not attached to any group, not particularly attractive on that day, and they did not even ask him a question when he walked in). It was pretty weird since I normally don't have any trouble. It was a big waste of time and I'm sure there was no reason to turn me away tonight other than they assumed I was sketchy or maybe the guy didn't like Americans. There was no mention at the line of any 'birthday party' and it makes no sense that you would turn one person away and just tell them to get out of line because you had a birthday party. It was pretty clear it was just an excuse. It was a normal club night and everyone else was getting in except me. Anyways, if you are with friends you may not have a problem, but if you are a solo traveler (and probably a male) you should probably have a backup plan in case they decide you aren't part of their certain clientele. Maybe they aren't too friendly to tourists. Not sure. Anyways, they wasted one of my nights in Copenhagen for no reason. Either that or just lie that your friends Elise, Lena, and Sebastian are inside and waiting for you so they think you have friends. I don't know. The line manager seemed pretty arbitrary about the whole thing. One star and only because there is no way to give zero stars!
