We had a wonderful stay here in February 2025. The rooms are basic but nice. Lots of room in the reception area and bar.
Special mention to the spa team and especially to the Icelandic massage therapist who sorted the tension in my upper back and neck in the spa.
Location is great just a short walk from the underground. Our room was cleaned everyday.  Relaxed feel and staff were amazingly friendly. 9/10.

First time in Copenhagen, the place where pedestrian streets and road crossings work beautifully for the people and transport. This hotel is wonderful, quirky and inviting. No matter if your checking in or out, you get to chill in an fabulous space inside or outside. Hotel Kong is a labyrinth of 5 lifts and many break out spaces. I loved being here, it's like being at home, but none of the chores.

This has to be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!!! From booking to checking out everything has been superb!!
I've already looked at returning in the Summer!
Check in is online then room key is on an app so arriving late like we did we were able to go straight to our room. You can have keys too but we loved this!
The room for being a standard double was fabulous. Plenty room for suitcases, comfy bed, loved the bathroom! Toiletries are amazing.. so much I bought some!
Cosy hour was an unexpected treat. A complimentary drink between 5 - 6 each day!
The staff are just wonderful.. they really make the hotel what it is!
We took the opportunity to use the gym which is perfect. It was actually a little bigger than I expected.
Train link to Norreport is convenient and then a short walk to the hotel.
There is nothing I could fault about this hotel and would like to thank the staff for making our joint birthday trip to Copenhagen such a brilliant experience 😊

Very relaxing and well-served atmosphere. 8 min walk from the metro. Good.restaurants.in the surroundings. Excellent to jog: lakes just across the road! Good breakfast.

First of all: I don't complain easily. I travel a lot for work and sleep in hotels for over 40 nights a year. I can't remember complaining once in the last 5 years. But this time was a bit much. When you take a 9-day vacation in the dark season, we needed a little wellness. We have been to Copenhagen several times. This time we chose the Kong Arthur because according to the description (Hotels.com and other booking websites) it should have a sauna and a whirlpool. But it didn't at all. The sauna and whirlpool are in a separate building with a separate owner. That's why we didn't have any bathrobes with us, for example. We had also booked a room upgrade, the room was supposed to be 28 m2. I suspect the room had a maximum of 22, rather less. In addition, the small fridge in the room didn't work, which we didn't notice straight away, so our raspberries got moldy. In addition, the TV kept stuttering. We were also unable to lower the room temperature below 19 degrees, which is above our sleeping temperature. The room service did not refill all coffee types, when we left, we had only caffeine free coffee left.

Although you had a funny sign under the bed, there was not a single cleaning under the bed during our 9-day stay. There was also a room card from previous guests.

Also, room service disposed some of our paper bags that we kept empty in our room but they were nowhere near the trash. We always use these bags to separate our laundry on departure. They also disposed half of a bread roll that was left on the windowsill. This was perhaps well-intentioned but very irritating and I have never experienced it in this form before.

After we sent these impressions to the hotel, we received a reply, probably generated by an AI, which did not address various points at all.
