Despite walking 8 to 10 miles in the limitless balmy summer sun amidst all the bicycling blonde super models, a Jersian needs a cozy chill cafe that's quaint, sedate & great! Tiny but large enough to accommodate unmitigated lounging, this ain't no Søllerod joint with flyspeck portions and outerspace prices. It's croque madam to make yer momma drool, capachino to make your Beevis memories grunt alive and as much people watching as your addled work besotted brain can take. Seriously. Get over here. There's even a bucolic twig twisting languidly from the cloning like Marlene Dietrich in a hash filled sky hammock!

This is a fun café. I really recommend this place for breakfast. In association with that, they have a good selection of lattes, other drinks, and tasty treats for your palate. This café has a very nice inside interior space. Small, yet very well designed. As expected, they also have some outdoor tables. But, sitting inside, you really get the entire atmosphere of the place. This café is a great find in the heart of Copenhagen. Whether you're coming here for a small meal, a treat, or just to sit back with a latte to enjoy with your friends or family, this place is highly recommend.

I needed a second lunch in the afternoon. I had an iced coffee and tuna salad smørrebrød - both were excellent. I'd come back and bring a friend to try some other menu items. Cute neighborhood, friendly staff. Sat outside by the bike path and did some people watching for an hour or so - warm sun and cool shade.

I came across this family-owned gem while looking for a place to escape the rain in Frederiksberg. The cafe is very warm, welcoming, and intimate. It's the type of place where you want to stay a while and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. For those that are in a rush and need their caffeine fix, they also have a to-go window outside. If you decide to stay and end up sitting at the common table or the window seat, you'll get to know your neighbor well but it's all part of the charm. The coffee is both delicious and beautifully presented. When it comes to the food, everything from the jam to the pastries is made in-house using local and organic ingredients. It's easy to see that the owners put a lot of love into the cafe. If you're in the neighborhood, stop in, relax, and enjoy all that Ispen & Co. has to offer.

Breakfast plate is kind of lacking as it only comes with one soft boiled egg, bread, croissant, yogurt and muesli, and cheese. I got the yogurt, which was very good, and a flaky croissant. Their blended iced latte was quite large. They usually have an English menu but they didn't have one available when we went, so the guy explained parts of the menu to us. Cute outdoor and indoor seating, with blankets available for the outside seats.

This cafe is wildly popular amongst the brunching danish crowd on Saturdays and Sundays. I stopped in under totally different circumstances: sweating from a spontaneously hot spring day, inappropriately dressed considering I had planned for rain, undercaffeinated, and on the hunt for cheese cloth on Gammel Kongevej (which, if you're wondering, I found at STOF 2000). I popped into Ipsen & Co to handle at least one of my many problems, and left with an absolutely delicious iced latté. They aren't totally equipped to handle To Go orders of the iced variety (only paper cups, which tend to decompose because of the condensation cold liquids create), but no matter, I enjoyed the hell out of my refreshing caffeinated beverage anyway. Considering I don't eat gluten I probably won't be back for brunch until they serve something other than delicious looking bread for half the meal, but I'll definitely be back for their coffee.

American on relocation scouting trip and found Ipsen & Co. after being directed on bike to Værnedamsvej - which wasn't what I was looking for. Found Ipsen & Co. everything I needed and more. Brought my husband back here and sat outside under the awning in the pouring rain it had that much hygge! Delicious coffee in charming pottery. Breakfast of soft-boiled egg on grainy brown Danish brød (bread) plus yogurt parfait with unknown (delicious) fruit compote and nutty crunchy muesli - classic, but well done. Free wifi, cute decor inside, cozy fluffy blankets outside and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Best coffee in Frederiksberg - and I will brook no argument on that score. And the people who work there are lovely, and as a result the place attacts lovely people as customers. I'm not one of these lovely people, I'm just a guy in a suit working temporarily in cph, walking to the office, who was able for one week to buy perfect coffee from the open window on the side. They make hygge work on a "to go" basis; they should patent the idea.

I ordered two sandwiches and a cafe au lait and was charged 195 kr. for it, and the guy at the register immediately crumbled the receipt up and threw it away, so I had no chance to see what it said. I don't like to be cheated - this place is an embarassment.
