Even it's closed for the season at the moment this review was written, but when I visited in Aug 2024, the setup was unique, atmosphere vibrant and with wide range of different cuisines, it's an absolute must go!

I arrived at early evening, ate some crispy chicken wings and delicious stirred fried noodles. Best was watching sunset while sipping mojito. Such a memorable day.

This is an amazing place to go for the day or just for lunch or dinner. There is plenty of paid parking in the vicinity, but there were also many people taking the bus or bicycling in. There is tons of bicycle parking. The food choices are endless and from all over the world. There is an amazing selection to choose from, and the prices are all about the same And fairly reasonable considering the experience. There is a wonderful place to grab a chair and sit along the river and relax or sit in the Sandy area around fire pits. There is plenty of bathrooms as well. This is a must see place if you are visiting the Copenhagen area, but it is a little off the beaten path so it is easy to miss. They do stay open Later in the evening, so it is wonderful to see all the cool lights and people hanging out and enjoying themselves. There is also a good section of vegetarian and vegan food as well as a great beer and wine selection.

We loved the concept, although it's nothing new, but the truth is that there's a wide variety of food, so you can choose whatever you want!

The super relaxed atmosphere of the place and the staff makes the place even more interesting. It's also right next to the river.

It's very easy to get there, just take the ferry that crosses the river and in 5 minutes you'll be 100 meters from Reffen. You can also take a bus if you prefer.

We chose the Danish hotdogs and they were simply divine!

We'll definitely go back there one day!

Lot to love about this place! Laid back food market with beach-like atmosphere and the “United Nations” of food choices. Food of prominent nations, flavor, color, spice and smell available. Getting here takes some work as it is located quite a ways away from the city center. if you don’t have a car as you need to take a boat or the bus (I took the bus).  Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Met a friendly family and people and sat with them in picnic-bench like community setting. Highly recommended.
