Very cool science museum for such a small town! The glass structure looks very cool and futuristic, and there's many interesting sculptures and things to do. Would recommend if you're in Rovaniemi.

The museum is not so big as expected, or so interactive
But definitely interesting, with a lot of info to gain, nothing boring, also appropriate for kids.
The store is very nice, obviously expensive, nothing found to be with the allergy label available...
And above all, the ticket Culture pass allows you to see all 3 museums with the same ticket.

exceeded my expectations. there’s a lot of neat stuff in here to gander at and it’s really nicely built and modern. yeah it’s a small region and area so there’s not much mindblowing stuff here but honestly it more than meets the mark.

Nice museum complex with great exhibits. They have free lockers to store winter jackets. Grab a free device to listen to detailed information on some exhibits. Covers a wide range of finnish history. We spent about 3 hours viewing, listening, and reading displays. Access to small gift shop and cafe. We purchased the "Culture Pass" that includes three venues. One next to this one and the other 15 minutes away. Great  value! Easy to reach by walking if you are staying in city center.

I visited on a Sunday during peak tourist season. I went early and it was quiet but picked up throughout the day.

Note: the buffet is closed on Sundays, but the lady at the desk let us find somewhere nearby for lunch and return to finish the exhibits.

The Arctic exhibition was surprisingly informative. I played with all the interactive displays and enjoyed myself as much as kids would. My partner and I enjoyed drawing icebergs, building an igloo, creating digital snowflakes and playing with the weather screen to see how wind affects temperatures. As I'm someone from the southern hemisphere, the flora and fauna are completely new to me and this was a great way to learn about Finland.

The Aurora display left me excited to see the northern lights and helped me with information to couple with a tour I had in the evening to go Northern light hunting.

Overall good experience, toilets were cleaned in the morning shortly after we entered, the online site/map was simple and made sense as we traveled through the rooms, private lockers with codes were great for our gear and free wifi to utilise the online map and info.

Oh! And there are QR codes on some displays that link to an audio recording you can listen to on your own device.

One day was plenty of time to see everything.
