Min man och jag är just nu på besök i Rovaniemi och tänkte att vi skulle vilja äta något annat än typisk nordfinsk mat. Indisk mat är ett av våra favoritkök men vi var misstänksamma mot att vi kunde hitta hyfsad indisk mat uppe vid polcirkeln. Vi hade fel! Vi bodde i mer än två decennier i Dubai och Singapore, som båda har stora indiska befolkningar och underbara indiska restauranger. Vi blev häpna av vår måltid. Vem kunde tro att vi skulle behöva resa till norra Finland för att äta en av de bästa indiska måltiderna i våra liv!

Ölen serverades varm, vilket helt förstörde upplevelsen. En kall öl bör vara ett minimum. När det gäller servicen var ägarens uppförande kallare än ölen. Först och främst behöver ägaren/chefen en snabbkurs i kundservice. Killens oförskämdhet är skyhög, vilket gör hela matupplevelsen extremt traumatiserande. Bild på tandooritallriken som vi beställde. Det var KOKTA kycklingbitar stekta i tomatpuré och lite rå lök. Ingen krydda och ingen smak alls. Vänligen undvik indisk mat på denna plats. De serverar inte indisk mat ändå. Det är förmodligen Bangladeshiska eller Nepalska köket.

Perfekt middag efter vår hektiska dag, två vackra vegetariska curryrätter med perfekt vitlöksnaan och ris. Curryrätterna var perfekt kryddiga, naan var bra och den enkla vinlistan matchar maten perfekt.

Vi fick några takeaway härifrån för efter en dag i snön som vi ville värma upp. Vi beställde smör kycklingen som var ok men inte fantastiskt. Ris kokades bara inte din vanliga indiska stil. Men Naans var bra. Be om lite chutney men var för hårt takeaway. Skulle vi komma tillbaka, är jag inte säker. . .

Vi gick i hopp om att få 10 euro buffén. Tyvärr var det inte på när vi stannade förbi. Vi beställde från menyn al a cart och blev inte besvikna. Priserna inkluderar en sida av ris, vitlök naan var läcker. Varan tillagas på beställning och din server kommer att fråga hur varmt du vill ha din curry.

Beslutade att gå här på vår sista dag i Rovaniemi, så sött som du steg ibside du kunde lukta de fantastiska kryddorna. Det är lätt, ta ett bord, betala på räknaren och allt du kan äta. Det var så mycket att välja från. Mycket populär plats med lokalbefolkningen och trots att det var lite upptagen, höll de sig på matkraven. En vacker mango smoothie också. Jag tror att maten skulle kunna ha mer krydda men jag älskar en varm curry. Ja inredningen är inte fantastisk men du går för god mat och service!
