We have had similar challenges with paying full price for two open slopes and the majority of the resort reserved for training. Think about who brings money to your hotels, restaurants.

The resort has great potential, but the situation was very disappointing. Chair lifts are somewhat outdated on the north side.

Value for money is quite poor at this time of the year. I would still recommend every good skier to go tobte Alps instead.

Unfortunately, as I wanted to like this place a lot.

It's very beautiful in Levi. We have been here for the 2. time. The landscape is magical. In the city you have a lot of shops and restaurants. The snowquality is perfect for skiing, but the slopes are a little bit short. The longest are 1500 meter.

For us, it was a mixed experience. We were there through Christmas and New Year, and at first, the weather was good, with temperatures hovering around the -7 degrees C. On Christmas Day it snowed all day, so skiing was beautiful. But then the temperature dropped, finally reaching -30 towards the end of our stay, and there was no more fresh snow. Skiing lost its appeal. And although we did the Husky sleds, cross country skiing, traditional snowshoes trekking, snowmobiling and so on, honestly, it was just too cold to enjoy anything.

The service was great. You can find anything you want. You can do whatever you like. But the prices were quite shocking, even for us. On Christmas Eve for example we had dinner at K5 Bistro and we ended up paying a small fortune for a mediocre buffet and spending no more than 30 min on the premises They even changed our DOG the price of a full meal. Even though she hardly had anything and only from our plates (scraps). This was the height of rudeness, we thought.

Otherwise, the lack of natural light (you only get about 3 h daily) got to us in the end and we couldn’t wait to get back home.

To sum up, skiing was meh, prices were unreasonable, and the cold became quite unbearable by the end. Food was good, if somewhat bland and repetitive, and the people were very friendly. It was an interesting experience, and I am glad I did it, but I wouldn’t do it again.

Do as much as you can in advance (register for ski rental, lift pass) to get you on the slopes sooner on your first day.
Apart from the extreme low temps when I was the (-29 deg), once I got my layers right I had an epic time on the slopes. No large crowds and 80% of the time I had runs to myself!! I’ve never experienced skiing like this and the snow was great quality and well groomed.

Loved this place so much we are coming back. Such a great place for families, it's not just about skiing here which is why we loved it. Locals are also really friendly. Ski lesson was so much fun.
