It's a beautiful serene place.  A lovely walk.  Choose the length of your walk.   And the restaurant served a lovely hot chocolate at the end.  We used public transport, taking just over 1 hour from Helsinki train station.

It is located about an hour away from Helsinki, and you can experience the Finnish forest. There are various trekking courses and beautiful lakes. It is my favorite place in Helsinki, having visited three times on different routes.

Amazing experience! Beautiful location. Lots of trails for all levels and distances. Family friendly. The staff are very polite and helpful. The food was really good too. Great views and lots of fun outdoors activities available.

Good place to visit near Helsinki if you came for couple of days. I really recommend you to find Half-day hiking trip in GetYourGuide app and visit this place.
You can see beautiful lakes, enjoy nature and have good and easy physical activities.

Amazing Hiking Experience of Finland’s top nature attractions at Nuuksio National Park, Espoo.
Information and map of the forest trail is available at Haltia, the Finnish Nature Centre.
Also Rain gear can be rented  from Haltia reception for €5 deposit.
We walked through the wilderness of the marked; tree lined forest trail. This was a long authentic marked trails with up and downhill on the ancient cliffs covered by mosses and lichens with beautiful scenic views of this nature park.
It took about 5 hours to complete at a comfortable pace.
An unforgettable experience of a lifetime!
