Mirja was an absolute pleasure at the front desk. She even changed our room because I wanted to see the Christmas tree, (what a pain I am) even though our first room looked over the court yard and was absolutely lovely. Rooms are extremely comfortable and quite spacious. They have a kettle and a beverage stocked refrigerator, both kinds of showers with plenty of hot water, a FABULOUS breakfast with everything you could dream of. Katie at breakfast was super friendly and gave us great advice about local food. As everyone else mentioned in their reviews the location is perfect - almost all sites within walking distance. Also you can jump on a fun tram which is really fun. The Christmas market was one of the best we’ve seen. The staff (also mentioned in the reviews ) is indeed more friendly than everyone in the whole city combined. We both enjoyed the workout room. Definitely don’t stay anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Just landed from a gorgeous weekend in Helsinki, made even better by a stay at F6 hotel. The rooms are really spacious, with a sofa, and big bathroom. The shower is walk-in, really luxurious and good Rituals products. There is also a GHD hairdryer in the room, which is a great touch. There are also a wide variety of items you can order for free to your room, like chargers and sensitive skincare. However, it is the staff in the hotel who really make it, they are so friendly and helpful, one of the staff members provided us with a rich list of things to do in the city on our check-in, and helped us with our day trip to Tallinn. The breakfast was a good spread, and the coffee here is delicious. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else if we returned to Helsinki, and will miss the hotels little luxuries now I’m home!

Great location, comfortable beds, clean room, fantastic breakfast and the most deserving of 5 stars is the staff of F6.

Thank you Lina, Mika, Mija and Jasmin for always smiling, providing accurate answers to our tourist questions and being ever helpful.

The team in the breakfast room were also amazing. The food was always freshly prepared and topped up (even when it was busy), the juice and coffee were always replenished and the tables were cleared relatively quickly.

The bar was a lively place to hang out in the evenings. The same bar doubles as the breakfast venue in the morning.

We stayed for a few days leading up to Christmas and we would definitely recommend F6 Helsinki for a city stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Hotel F6 during our time in Helsinki. The hotel is modern, conveniently located, and managed by great staff. Breakfast was amazing. During our stay on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, staff went out of their way to make dinner reservations for us and prepare an early morning breakfast before our day trip to Estonia. We stayed here for several days after a long two-week trip. Could not have chosen a better hotel.

3.5 stars for a thoroughly charming hotel that is slightly overpriced (okay now, what isn't), has a very good and somewhat unique breakfast (all European/Scandinavian though), roomy rooms (sorry) and a chic vibe and happening bar that doubles as breakfast/lounge area. Big minus for us, yet something not entirely unseen in boutique hotels, was the amount of hair we found on the sheets in our initial room. The third room they offered us was okay (still waiting for that promised bottle of bubbly). None of the rooms seem to have views.
Despite the negative/s, we did not regret coming here; I'm also a touch unsure whether I'm too fussy about a little hair here and there on my pillow, but my brother agreed it's typically a no-no.
To end on a positive: super fun chess board in the lobby, and very friendly and chatty barkeepers.
