Had an excellent dinner with my colleagues here. The 5 course menu was extremely refined, balanced, creative. Dinner last 2 hours and was well paced and timed.
Service was good as well. Atmosphere was very nice.

What a nice gourmet treat. We were quite disappointed by the food and the restaurants in Helsinki until we discovered that beauty. Delicious food,intriguing tastes, surprising combinations. We got a nice bottle of red wine to enjoy it with the dinner and cheese mix. Make a reservation before visiting

Wine selections are definitely worth a go. Surprising surprise menu (of course!)
Descriptions of the food and wine were elaborate and entertaining, but certainly could stop the flow of conversation!
Excellent attention to detail in the food, wholesome fine flavours. Finnish twist to French cuisine perhaps. Inventive elements like birch sorbet. We went with the five option menu which is recommended.

Great food experience!
Very cozy place with adorable staff. Therefore only 2 options for menu - 3 course and 5 course. Witch is a great concept. There are some surprises, which I will not reveal. The wine list is good.

Title: Again and Again—Still Not a Fan of Surprise Menus :)

I knew from the reviews that this restaurant had a surprise menu, and, well… I’m still not a fan. That said, the staff was accommodating when it came to allergies and preferences, which was appreciated. We went with the three-course menu and wine pairing. Unfortunately, the wine pairing was underwhelming.

Before writing a review, I always check with my husband or friends who dined with me to gather their thoughts. The verdict? A solid meh 🫤. No one could recall a dish they absolutely loved—or disliked, for that matter. And that, in itself, says a lot.

On the plus side, we all agreed the pricing was reasonable. A quick tip: this is not a kid-friendly spot. There’s no kids’ menu, and the options aren’t particularly suitable for little ones—not that the restaurant claims to cater to families, but worth noting.

Now, I am a dessert person, and I have to say… I didn’t like the dessert. And that, I definitely remember. :)
