Hotel is definitely showing its age and not in a good way. Rooms are clean and the service is very nice but everything is old and in need of an update otherwise. Rooms don’t have kettle but at the lobby you can get hot water if needed, not very convenient.

Breakfast is the usual Scandic breakfast, average to good. Location is a bit away from center of Helsinki but convenient still and a nice walk away from everything.

The rooms are pretty big and really comfortable. The breakfast is big and there are some really good items. It's also in ~10 min walking distance from the city center so it's really convenient. Would go there again

Nice hotel, except our room had no kettle or tea making facilities, yet had an empty fridge. Really disappointed to find if we did want a cup of tea or coffee, you had to buy them through reception at 2.40 Euro each! Seemed really stingy from our point of view. No facial tissues provided but the shower and bathroom were well laid out and functional. The beds, looked really thin, but we're actually really comfortable.
However, all the staff were very friendly, approachable and happy to help. Buffet breakfast was good, with all tastes and styles catered for.

The hotel is very well located, with most things in walking distance. There is not much variation in meals, but everything was well cooked.
The rooms are dated, but clean and spacious.  There was no coffee or tea facilities in our room.
Service was wonderful,  with helpful,  friendly staff.

Spacious room, guest needs well covered without being excessive. Towel warming rail was a real godsend for me. Thoughtfully arranged hanging spaces that I very much appreciated. The bed was unusual with a thin mattress pad but it was surprisingly comfortable. I really liked the commitment to sustainability, including paper bin liners, rubbish sorting, and encouragement to drink Helsinki's delicious tap water rather than bottled. The service is classic Finnish - helpful when you ask for it.
The sweet location is near the port, Allas Sea Pool and the old market hall. Trams run very close by and are frequent. There is a well stocked supermarket just around the corner. The views of the port are not romantic but they are pleasant.
The included breakfast is wonderfully comprehensive and many traditional Finnish options are offered, like a good array of pickled vegetables.
