We spent 3 days at the Hotel Rantapuisto in July 24. It is indeed a unique place that has a great architecture and interior design. The hotel, that was planned and built as a congress and training center in the mid-sixties, is placed right at the shore of the Baltic Sea. Rooms in the “sea front” building offer a great view.
Metro station is within 20-minute walking distance and it takes another 20 minutes to the city center. Staff is helpful and very friendly, and the breakfast that is served in the restaurant offers a great variety, also vegetarian and vegan options. We did not try the hotels restaurant “Fugo” while it was closed for a summer break. The hotel serves food at the “Design Lodge” during that time, but we did prefer to go out in the city. There is also the option to order drinks at the reception until late at night.
While it is an old building that is being kept mostly original, not everything is state of the art but in good shape.

Outstanding place to stay. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff who speak English (along with most of the people here in Finland), and an incredible breakfast! The saunas have limited usages and times, so be ready to fit your schedule around that if you're interested. Rooms are great and custodians will clean them and make the beds when you're gone. Five stars!

Absolut top. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly information and guidance, clean room and shower. Best of all, TOP of the line breakfast, all fresh and tasty, BIG selection!

Really nice Hotel with features like restaurant, sauna (separate house on the coast!) and gym. Cosy atmosphere and friendly personnel in an amazing surrounding. Only the rooms could be in a much better condition but overall I can recommend.

80' style, but clean and cousy hotel . Sea  side location is excellent, but otherwise remote. Gym may be the best hotel gym ever. Spacious, virtual spinning and jooga.
