Very beautiful place. The snowy landscape was like something out of a fairy tale. Unfortunately, several animals had hidden from the cold and I couldn't see them. Nevertheless, it is worth visiting in winter as well.

Great zoo well worth a visit! Can easily spend a few hours here, lots to see! The tigers were brilliant along with red pandas. Also lots of interesting small animals. Recommend coming by ferry. Just walking around here is peaceful and nice overlooking the sea. Would recommend!

It's a brilliant zoo located on an Island. It is also very easy to get to with bus number 16 taking you from the railway station and back again. They're very concensus about conservation and the wellbeing of the animals. Not to mention the incredible buffet available. You should give it a visit if you come to Helsinki.

Helsinki Zoo is definitely worth a visit. It’s quite a large zoo with a good variety of animals, making it an enjoyable experience for all ages. The layout is well-organized, and there are plenty of opportunities to get up close to the animals.

One feature that makes Helsinki Zoo unique compared to other zoos is the ability to barbecue on-site. This adds a fun and social element to the visit that you don’t often find elsewhere. It’s a great way to spend time with family or friends while enjoying the surroundings.

However, one area that could use some improvement is the playground for children. While it’s nice to have a space for kids to play, it could be a bit bigger to better accommodate the number of families that visit.

Overall, though, Helsinki Zoo offers a great day out for anyone looking to explore wildlife in the heart of the city.

Really interesting zoo, lots of animal species. Some of them were hidden, like lions or bears, but I guess it was their nap time already 😁
Must see when in Helsinki!
