An absolute gem, hidden in the shadow of a castle. The service was attentive, informative and welcoming. Dishes were both creative and impeccably prepared. All in a truly unique setting. Highly recommend, worth going out of your way.

Excellent and I would even say worth a détour! We shall remember the simple menú, but excellent prepared, nicely presented and perfectly served.

La Petite Grange is in the lovely town of Tournemire, Cantal. There is a spectacular view over the valley. The food was excellent and certainly an experience. The oysters with grapefruit ice was a particular highlight. Each plate was extremely well presented and also explained when being served. If you eat fish and sea food then you are fine. Not a place for vegetarians or vegans but perhaps you could arrange in advance when booking as I have found with other such restaurants in France.
