I came across this gem on a rainy Friday evening in June, the other restaurant was full. It was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself. It opens at 19.30 and is rather quirky, the main restaurant is up some rickety stairs. The lady was very friendly and there was only another party of 4, such a shame as it deserves to be busy. 4 courses for €29, simple selection of 2 starters, 2 mains, cheese and a choice of dessert. All cooked perfectly,  my duck especially. The service wasn't  fast but the food was cooked to order and well worth it. I had a bottle of the Auvergne Pinot Noir which was very palatable. My dog was made welcome.
