De retour à La Calèche. Une belle demeure au cœur du village.
Menu « plaisir » en deux et trois plats pour nous cette fois. L’expérience était moindre par rapport à notre première visite. Les mises en bouche étaient bonnes mais pas de découvertes côté saveurs.
Une belle entrée à base de langoustines. La raviole était malheureusement un peu sèche mais de belles saveurs.
Le plat principal à base de poisson conjuguait beaucoup de saveurs. Un peu trop à mon goût. Une variation autour de l’artichaut (en morceau et en crème) et de la tomate aurait donné plus de lisibilité. Pour moi la purée de petits pois, les copeaux de jambon séchés et l’asperge étaient de trop. Déception côté assiette de viande. Une assiette bien présentée mais des morilles plutôt fades et une compotée de joues de boeuf peu relevée et pas nécessaire en complément du faux filet de bœuf. Bon jus de viande corsé.
Côté desserts, ce restaurant voit toujours grand, comme lors de notre première visite. Mention spéciale pour le premier dessert à la sauce chocolat. Un vrai plaisir.
L’assiette de desserts en trois variations autour de la menthe a remporté moins d’adhésion.
Le pain est très bon.
Les portions sont plutôt généreuses et une fois les desserts servis, vous ne devriez plus avoir faim.

Le service était plutôt froid cette fois-ci. Les deux jeunes serveuses n’étaient pas très avenantes et présentaient les plats sans « âme ». Si le restaurant veux gagner des étoiles, il va falloir travailler cet aspect tout comme la présentation de la carte et la qualité des couverts. Les assiettes sont choisies avec soin pour mettre chaque plat en valeur.

Back at La Calèche. A beautiful residence in the heart of the village.
Two and three course “pleasure” menu for us this time. The experience was less than our first visit. The appetizers were good but no discoveries in terms of flavors.
A nice starter based on langoustines. The ravioli was unfortunately a little dry but had lovely flavors.
The main fish dish had a lot of flavor in it. A little too much for my taste. A variation around the artichoke (in pieces and in cream) and the tomato would have made it more readable. For me the pea puree, dried ham shavings and asparagus were too much. Disappointment on the meat side. A well presented plate but rather bland morels and a beef cheek compote that was not very spicy and not necessary in addition to the beef fillet. Good full-bodied meat juice.
When it comes to desserts, this restaurant always thinks big, like during our first visit. Special mention for the first dessert with chocolate sauce. A real pleasure.
The dessert plate in three variations around mint won less support.
The bread is very good.
The portions are quite generous and once the desserts are served, you should no longer be hungry.

The service was rather cold this time. The two young waitresses were not very friendly and presented the dishes without “soul”. If the restaurant wants to earn stars, it will have to work on this aspect as well as the presentation of the menu and the quality of the cutlery. The plates are chosen carefully to highlight each dish.

Plusieurs salles de disponibles avec beaucoup d’espace.
Très bon rapport qualité/prix.
Les amuses bouches sont nombreux, surprenant et très bons.
Personnel accueillant, souriant et agréable.
Je recommande !

L'accueil est très professionnel, le cadre est superbe. La cuisine est soignée et savoureuse malgré quelques imperfections des cuissons, apparemment le cuisinier était bien seul. Le service à table est un peu "dans l'air du temps", c'est comme ça. Une bonne adresse tout de même.

The welcome is very professional, the setting is superb. The cuisine is careful and tasty despite some cooking imperfections, apparently the cook was alone. Table service is a bit "in tune with the times", that's how it is. A good address all the same.
