The hotel venue is nice, but that is about it. Our room was cold, the hotel heating is done with AC only and despite several attempts to warm up our room, we gave up. We asked the reception to handle it, they attempted to resolve it the next day, in the meantime the room was not a place to hang out.The door to our room was scratched, the furniture as well. The service at the restaurant is ok, again if you want to be spoiled look elsewhere. When you stay 5 stars you come with an anticipation that the staff makes your stay very pleasant and worthwhile to remember. We didn't get that service at all.

Really nice hotel. But I do feel that for a 5 start hotel the front desk can be more friendly. Also really disappointed at $25 breakfast not to find and vegetables (not even a single tomato )and the coffee machine for breakfast was not great.

My wife and I stayed at the Palace for 5 days on our honeymoon in France. We can both confidently say it was the highlight of our entire trip. The room quality was superb, the view amazing, and the cleanliness of all common areas exceptional. The hotel staff was friendly and often bent over backwards to provide the highest quality experience possible. The facilities at the hotel were top tier with the infinity pool and beach bar being our favorites. Needless to say, the access to the lake was perfect. We have a rudimentary, functional understanding and usage of French but did not find this to be a limitation. Most of the staff asked if we preferred English when we couldn't immediately recall the right words in some conversations. We felt welcomed in every interaction. We will most definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Palace de Menthon!

I stayed here with my husband during our wedding in Menthon and we adored this hotel. This is the nicest hotel in the most beautiful location. Staff is so kind, rooms are immaculate and the views are gorgeous. Beds are very comfortable and room service breakfast is perfect. Pool is indoor and very nice. Loved this spot, would recommend and would return!

Over all a beautiful place. The views are stunning. The rooms are nice but could use some TLC for a 5 star Palace.
Don't expect great lakeside service. Apparently you have to go to the cabana bar to get service which makes no sense.
The restaurant dinner service was 5 stars.
Breakfast: no booze included in the breakfast buffet. The buffet selection of food was ok but nothing compared to other 5 star hotels I've stayed at.
