I’ve just eaten here solo on the spur of the moment after visiting the local volcano. I found the place after looking at the Michelin Red Guide so didn’t hold out much hope. They were indeed fully booked but the charming lady offered me a seat at the bar. The food was fantastic and not over contrived. The clientele is the slightly more discerning guest. If you want to visit I’d strongly recommend booking ahead of time. They had to turn away several callers.
