We did the tasting menu, which we largely enjoyed, but I’d have a hard time naming a truly memorable dish. Everything was fresh and tasty, although nothing left us wow-d. Highlights would be the mezcal margarita (strong and smoky!) and the blood sausage taco.

We chose the 8 course meal with wine pairing and it did not disappoint. What a beautiful fusion of French technique and Mexican tradition. Every course was magnificent and the wine pairing was thoughtful. My husband and I are from the Southern US and travel to France regularly. What a beautiful blending of two cultures. Incredible!

Amazing dinner experience of flavours and texture. Great menu, no need to choose, just decide how many courses you like (4, 6 or all 8). We also got a complementary starter AND dessert.

Why would you eat “Mexican” in Lyon? Because it is out of this world!!! This is French haute cuisine with exotic ingredients at its finest. This beautiful experience was brought to us by kind and detail oriented staff. After countless multiple Michelin star meals this will forever be a top 5. The flavors are like nothing you have ever experienced! Get here before you can’t get a reservation anymore!

I was really excited to try this restaurant, I love Mexican flavors, but the experience was underwhelming, especially for the price. Some dishes were good (the boudin taco, the salad, the scallops), some fine but slightly bland (the tamal and the croquette), some not very good (the very bitter lamb and the two desserts).

I was most disappointed with the drinks though. I wish I had understood that the drink pairings included cider and beer; had I known I never would have taken it. When I expressed to the server that I wasn't interested in the beer, he served it anyways. It is very frustrating paying a lot for drinks you don't like. The basil lemonade also has a pickle aftertaste.

I left pretty disappointed and would not go again. Bummer.
