A lovely hidden gem of a restaurant with a view.  The 5 star reviews are right, let yourself be led by the chef's proposed menu.
Seasonal plates are created with love and respect for the locally sourced ingredients, everything is presented with care and attention.  The passion of the owners is clear, even down to the carefully selected local knives on the tables, they explain each course as its served, and offer superb wine pairings.

We chanced upon Le Saint Jean, and it was such a delightful surprise! A really special experience. Local produce - put together with love, creativity, passion for excellence, and beautiful presention. Definitely recommend!

We went for dinner and it was a lovely experience, the staff took very good care of us and made efforts to explain the menu to us in English. The food itself was varied and full of flavour, with the added bonus of being locally sourced (many plant ingredients came from the garden right outside).

I took my parents here for a celebration dinner. The menu was a "trust" menu. It was wonderful. The service was exemplary. We would certainly be back. The cost of the menu for 4 people plus a good bottle of wine was €300

Had a wonderful dinner at le saint Jean which really deserves a mention for the creativity of its dishes. The place offer a fantastic view over the valley. The owner and the service were also very nice and kind. The starter and mains were absolutely fantastic, explosion of flavour. I was less impressed for the desert though as they were interesting but over-thought and complex for my taste (I'm less experimental on desserts). All in all a very good address.
