They tried to make a vegetarian dish for us, but it was just a few steamed vegetables, no sauce, no seasoning, no actual preparation of the food except for the lay out. We asked for a sauce, but it never came, and no explanation. When we told the server we were unhappy, he tried to explain that vegetarian includes fish usually, and otherwise it’s vegan… therefore our faut for having called before asking if they could do a vegetarian dish!! Not cool. At least not for vegetarians!

Repas de midi pris avec tout un groupe. Le repas a été correct, mais sans plus. Les quantités étaient plus que correct mais il manquait le petit plus qui différencie un restaurant de ce que je peux faire chez moi.. De fait, ce qui nous a été servi ne correspondait pas entièrement au menu choisi (exp. un jus de viande à la place d'une sauce à la fourme). Donc déçu par le rapport qualité/prix

Lunch taken with a whole group. The meal was OK, but nothing more. The quantities were more than adequate but the little extra that differentiated a restaurant from what I can do at home was missing. Wir haben hier bereits einige Male auf unserer Heimreise übernachtet und das feine Abendmenu genossen. Dieses Mal waren wir allerdings recht enttäuscht. Das Hôtel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Menukarte ist auf ein Minimum reduziert worden. Es gibt keine separate Weinkarte. Der Service war völlig ungenügend, das Personal unmotiviert, evtl. übermüdet und schlecht ausgebildet. Keine Tischtücher, sondern Plastiksets. Keine Kerzen, keine Blumen. Pluspunkte:
immer noch schönes Ambiente im kleinen Esssaal mit Kaminfeuer. Das Essen war gut, aber zum Teil etwas lieblos angerichtet. Sehr schade, dass dieses einst empfehlenswerte Etablissement derart runtergefahren wurde.

We have stayed here a few times on our journey home and enjoyed the fine evening menu. This time, however, we were quite disappointed. The hotel is getting old. The menu has been reduced to a minimum. There is no separate wine list. The service was completely inadequate, the staff unmotivated, possibly overtired and poorly trained. No tablecloths, just plastic sets. No candles, no flowers. Pros:
still a nice atmosphere in the small dining room with a fireplace. The food was good, but some of it was a bit carelessly prepared. It's a shame that this once recommended establishment has been shut down like this.
