Wow! This wasn't even a promoted aspect of the Chamonix multi-Day ticket.  No, we didn't come prepare to hike. We just came up for a couple of days to learn about this place, but the reality is you could spend a week here. A couple of weeks here a month here. We met someone who spent 3 months here and said they would easily spend 6 weeks here all the time. I can see why this particular lift brought you to some great views as well as some great hikes.  It's part of the multi-day pass so I would suggest spend at least 3 days if not 4 days here and take advantage of this is one of your full days at the very least and then do one day at the main attraction and the second attraction and then a fourth day. Just do whatever because you'll be so thrilled and tired

Visited in the cable car from Chamonix, recommend it strongly to those not skiing as well. Make sure to check the timing in advance and book it accordingly.

I took a beginner lesson for skiing at this place and it was great! The views from the slopes are absolutely stunning, and there are different green runs for beginners to learn and enjoy. It was incredibly busy though! And one downside is that to exit the place via the slopes, you have to share the slope with the other proficient skiers coming from other tracks, so it can be quite scary for beginners as it's very busy and many of them are flying down. There are different slopes and types of lifts for skiers of different levels. There are also cafes and restaurants for non skiers.
