Very disappointed. The village of Crest is lovely, but the restaurant is not worth the 2 hours drive. We ate at the Bistrot not the 1 star. The modern interior design does not feel confy, very basic. 4 guests and no music, we had to whisper to avoid being heard. A bit of music would have been nice. Very basic and tasteless dishes in the plates.

Why not? Staff is afraid to smile, they are friendly yet almost defensive. With the reservation we mentioned one is suger free. Well, that caused stress. Desert was just some fruit and the repeated excuse was "it's complicated". No, it's not!
The rest of the food was fine, cheese exceptional.
Final tip: try to speak at least a little English.

Le cadre est magnifique. Nous avons même eu le privilège de manger seul.

Le service très agréable et à notre écoute.

L’on nous a demandé nos allergies et nos préférences alimentaires; ce qui est fort appréciable.

Ensuite viens le repas; nous avons pris l’entrée, la poisson, la viande, le fromage puis le dessert.

Les proportions sont généreuses, les goûts sont présent. Nous avons effectivement voyagé au grès des sens.

Première fois dans ce restaurant étoilé, nous voulions l'essayer depuis longtemps, nous ne regrettons pas du tout, en effet nous avons passé un très bon moment. Tout était très bon, même le plat de viande était une agréable surprise contrairement à ce que nous pouvons voir d'habitude. Les produits sont de très bonnes qualités et finement préparés avec quelques originalités.
Seul l'accord mets et vin était légèrement en dessous de nos attentes.
Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette adresse.

First time in this starred restaurant, we wanted to try it for a long time, we don't regret it at all, in fact we had a very good time. Everything was very good, even the meat dish was a pleasant surprise unlike what we usually see. The products are of very good quality and finely prepared with some originalities.
Only the food and wine pairing was slightly below our expectations.
