One of Beaune’s best restaurants. Menu constantly changes and is very seasonal. Their wine list is amazing. Their somm is very knowledgeable. The staff will help you for sure choose the best dishes and wine for you. The chef was very friendly and came out to say hi and explain some dishes. Great hospitality.The atmosphere is cosy and rustic. Definitely worth a visit and make a reservation way ahead of time.

We had a delightful evening on the terrace of Caves Madeleine.

Every dish was flavorful and portions in the tasting menu were perfectly sized.

Excellent and efficient food. Everything is well executed. A 29 € menu for lunch. With limited choice of 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 2 deserts. Dinner is a la carte.
Located in the old town center. You can find a large open air parking on place madeleine. You must book in advance as it is relatively small and gets full every day. Opening days are Monday Tuesdays thurs Friday Saturday 12 to 1pm30 then 7pm15 to 9pm45

My spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to CAVES MADELEINE. We sat at the communal table, which is really a nice touch because it promotes conversation with your table mates. We both chose the chef’s tasting menu, where the chef chooses the dishes, and you don’t know what they are going to be. For the tasting menu, we each received three starters, two mains, and a dessert. Each of the courses were smaller than a full course, but the portions were perfect. Every dish brought out to us was excellent. It was a bit noisy when we first arrived with some people at the next table who were somewhat obnoxious, but that is not at all the restaurants fault. The wine list is incredibly diverse, kind of overwhelming for a newbie to wine, but the one we selected was great. Our French is almost nonexistent, which makes the sommelier’s job a little harder, but she did her best. Courses were brought out perfectly and explained to us as they arrived. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Beaune.

A relaxed dining experience in an beautiful courtyard featuring a thoughtfully selected menu and an extensive wine menu. Service was attentive though I should mention there was a lot of time between the appetizer and the entree. Price was quite reasonable given the impressive quality of each dish. Very recommended!
