The restaurant is outstanding. What we loved most about the menu was the thoughtful use of classic Italian ingredients—such as nuts, truffle, pistachio, and sun-dried tomatoes—elegantly incorporated to create unique dishes with exquisite flavors.

The wine pairing was equally delightful, perfectly complementing each course. Service was attentive, efficient, and struck just the right balance of professionalism and warmth, making us feel like dining in a Michelin-starred restaurant, yet with the comfort of being at home.

We also highly recommend the hotel and the adjoining spa for a complete, luxurious experience.

Food was fantastic, wines delicious and the atmosphere elegant and quiet. However the service was really far from the Michelin standards (dishes not presented, wines too casually explained, a lot of waiting… they really need to work on the processes in the main room because a lot of staff walk around the guests with no purpose and the end result is a poor quality of service).

Only ate at the hotel. Great food, fresh ingredients from the region, the artistry in the ceramics really added to it.
Our waiter (forget his name, originally from Afghanistan) and the sommelier were amazing.

Nice restaurant located in the middle of Jura wine region in Arbois. Just been there for the two michelin star restaurant : very nice experience. Classical style with a lot of combinations in the plate. The chef aims to make the link with the past and the two former Jeunet chefs and offers some dishes with deep regional roots as well with some good seafood. The menu 8 pêchés is really big and you are not hungry anymore at the end.
Nice asparagus starter, the foie gras with fenouil was really good. I enjoyed the lamb and before one made with some snails and radish. Dessert on rhubarb and sage was great as well.
With that was served a very nice white wine from the region.
Service is very kind.

This review is for the restaurant.

This was supposed to be our top dining experience for our yearly wine-trip, this time in the Jura region. Sadly this two-star restaurant left us feeling quite disappointed.

With two stars there are certain things one expects, waiting almost ten minutes for aperitifs are not one of those things, particularly when the restaurant isn't even half-full!

The food was not worth a detour being only "good" and not excellent. It was rather boring and uninspiring to be honest and with a couple of overcooked dishes (my John Dory and the veal sweetbread). Nothing else was bad, but nothing was excellent and I really do expect excellence for that price.

A saving grace, and the only thing turning this visit from a terrible visit to merely an okay experience, was our sommelier. He was given free choice of wine for each course (we were enough people to share a bottle for each course) and really saved the night! The combinations of some of the wines with some of the courses were excellent and it would have been divine if only the food could live up to the wine!

Jura is an interesting area with its many great wines and well worth the visit, but unless you like throwing away money on sub-par experiences spend your money at one of several other good restaurants in the area!
