We had high expectations for this place, especially for its natural wine selection and Japanese-inspired cuisine. As a group of six, we visited after a substantial lunch, so we weren't very hungry. Unfortunately, one of our group felt unwell and chose not to order food, which seemed to upset the owner. He expressed frustration, stating he could have accommodated more guests if he had known earlier—even though there were empty tables available. His manner was quite off-putting. Moreover, when my wife couldn't finish her meal, he reacted poorly, making inappropriate jokes about it. While the reception left much to be desired, the food itself was quite good—delicate and well-prepared. The wine list was extensive and enjoyable, though not as impressive as anticipated.
Of the 8 guests we had:
4 guests eating starter + dish
1 guest eating dish (not starter)
1 guest did not eat beacause she was not feeling well.
We also asked for 2 deserts.
The owner of this place is RUDE.

French Japanese restaurant. Owner wife who is Japanese, she is the chef. I loved all the meals that I had. Especially beef was really delicious. Side and juicy!! They were serving great wines too ♥️

Nested in the heart of this small french town, this restaurant revisits japanese cuisine with a french touch. The manager himself looks after each customer and provides in-depth information about the dishes that are prepared fresh. The restaurant makes use of local products, including some of them grown by the owners themselves. The food is exquisite and unique, turning the meal  into a full fledged experience.

We have known of this little gem for a short while only. Quietly hidden in a small village in the Jura there exists a little bit of Japanese finesse in its most complete and sophisticated kind. A feast of colour, taste and craft! It is a real pleasure to experience such class, offered with kindness and modesty. Ingredients and preparation are of highest quality, the menu immensely versatile so as to always search out the best. Chiaki and Raoul, you should be enormously proud of your creation.
