Wry friendly service. Lovely breakfast with home made yogurt and nice choices. Room was comfortable and very quiet. We did not try the restaurant but we did get to experience the chef’s cooking. We were there for an event of table to farm with Outstanding in the Field which had th chef from l’ouvrée prepare an excellent dinner in the middle of a vineyard.
Highly recommend this hotel. Will be back

Update 2019: A new owner, a new chef de cuisine and a new name „Le 428“. Fantastic meals! Reasonable prices for excellent food and wine. Very stylish interior.

Update 2016: Forget about the "messy". They improved a lot.

2014: The restaurant is good and can be recommended for people who don't care about an old-fashioned and partly messy ambience. The food is good, and prices are acceptable.

Dinner was delicious but the service from the restaurant was the worst experience ever! We arrived at the restaurant at 6pm and made a reservation. 1 hour later, we arrived for dinner and the same waiter did not even recognize us again (just an hour later!). This inattentive service continued over the whole evening. We were lucky enough that we had been the first ppl there, because everyone around us who arrived later, were waiting like forever to get their dinner (see post before from Zara). Food of the 4-course was delish but nothing super special. Waiters forgot to serve butter to our bread, forgot our drink, were walking around without noticing us. We would not recommend this place to others. Side note: the dessert actually looked like a sausage 😅

Very nice hotel with very friendly personnel. Room incl. bathroom is nice and clean.
When you visite, make sure to reserve in the restaurant for a great and refined dinner. We asked for accompagning wines with each course. This was possible but quite expensive. They said the will look into a formula for future clients.
The breakfast was again superb !

Hotel accepted booking, but denied us the room, and asked us to ourselves to search for alternative accommodation. Very disappointing experience. Do not recommend.
