Wow and wow. Being guests of the hotel, we decided to try their bistro last night. And we were properly wowed.
A boudin-type entrée paired with porcini mushrooms and cubed foie gras.
Mains of a confit pork dish excellently slow-cooked in cider paired with stuffed-cabbage . And another mains of pan-seared scallops served with shredded Jerusalem artichoke cooked with shredded bacon.
And we had a lovely ending of our meal with a deconstructed Black Forest dessert, and a citrus "tart". What an excellent meal.
