We celebrated a birthday dinner at Holen Restaurant in Rennes and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant focuses on using local and organic ingredients, which is a huge plus for me. I appreciated the emphasis on fresh vegetables as well as other products sourced from the surrounding region.

Inhospitable service, only one white wine and one red wine. No substitutions, even for allergies, very slow service, food was unimaginative, and not worth the money. As a one star Michelin restaurant they do not take American Express, not worth the money and over rated
