This little gem of a restaurant deserves more than a BiB. The quality of the food and service is at least worth one star. Be sure to book in advance, they only have 4 tables.

I have visited twice on my two most recent visits  to France and will return every time I can. On both trips, it was my favorite meal. The food and the atmosphere are far more  elevated than the cost of the meal. This is a hidden gem in a beautiful, art-filled village.

This beautiful small restaurant deserves at least one STAR! Very gentle service and
excellent cooking. Everybody in Cher should visit La Borne and try. Experience superb et parfait!

Certainement l’un des meilleurs restau du Berry! Tout simplement parfait 🤗
Les gérants sont super sympa et la cuisine excellente. On est ici dans une démarche gastro durable avec les produits du coin.
De l’espuma en entrée, au filet de canette, le fromage et le dessert, tout est fin et maîtrisé.
On a aussi bien profité du pain et beurre maison 🤣.
Bref, à refaire sans hésiter avec plaisir.

The managers are super friendly and the food is excellent. We are here in a sustainable gastronomic approach with local products.
From the espuma as a starter, to the duck fillet, the cheese and the dessert, everything is fine and controlled.
We also enjoyed the homemade bread and butter 🤣.
In short, to be repeated without hesitation with pleasure.
