Escale dans un restaurant doublement étoilé ⭐️⭐️proche de Porto Vecchio: Casadelmar.
Situé au sein d’un sublime hôtel moderne et chic, ce restaurant a les pieds dans l’eau avec une superbe vue sur la mer et la montagne. Un plaisir pour les yeux 👀 !

Le personnel de salle est aux petits soins, serviable et attentionné. Top 👍 !

La salle est chic et donne directement sur une immense baie vitrée avec vue mer.

Au menu la formule Découverte du chef. C’est le premier menu qui est déjà trèèès copieux. Au programme mignardises salées et pizza truffe d’été en apéritif, mise en appétit, entrée autour de la langouste et légumes croquants, surprise du chef autour du thon, assiette autour du pois, plat de cabri, rafraîchissement sucré à l’orange et pistache, dessert à la pomme ou au chocolat pour finir sur des mignardises sucrées. 🥵 un marathon culinaire très copieux.

L’ensemble était juste, parfaitement assaisonné, bon, étonnant, de nouvelles associations de saveurs pour nos papilles…une très belle découverte. Nous avons été séduits. BRAVO 👏

Les tarifs €€€€€ sont très élevés, à la hauteur d’un étoilé mais la quantité, la qualité, le lieu et le service impeccable justifient le tarif. Comptez tout de même 250€ par personne boissons et café compris pour le diner.

En résumé un restaurant doublement étoilé sublime, tarifs élevés, des plats parfaitement conçus et un service au TOP!

Located in a sublime modern and chic hotel, this restaurant has its feet in the water with a superb view of the sea and the mountains. A pleasure for the eyes 👀!

The room staff is attentive, helpful and attentive. Great 👍!

The room is chic and opens directly onto a huge bay window with a sea view.

On the menu is the chef's Discovery formula. This is the first menu which is already very copious. On the program: savory treats and summer truffle pizza as an aperitif, whet your appetite, starter around lobster and crunchy vegetables, surprise from the chef around tuna, plate around pea, goat dish, sweet refreshment with orange and pistachio , apple or chocolate dessert to finish with sweet treats. 🥵 a very hearty culinary marathon.

The whole thing was just right, perfectly seasoned, good, surprising, new flavor combinations for our taste buds...a very nice discovery. We were seduced. BRAVO 👏

The €€€€€ prices are very high, on par with a Michelin star, but the quantity, quality, location and impeccable service justify the price. Still count on €250 per person including drinks and coffee for dinner.

In summary, a sublime two-star restaurant, high prices, perfectly designed dishes and TOP service!

Endroit magnifique ! Nous avons dîner au Grill, un peu d’attente pour avoir nos cocktails mais celle-ci fut rapidement oubliée tellement ils étaient délicieux ! Les plats étaient bons ainsi que les desserts. Le personnel est correct. Nous l’avons fait une fois, pourquoi pas deux... ☺️

Magnificent place! We had dinner at the Grill, a bit of a wait to get our cocktails but that was quickly forgotten because they were so delicious! The dishes were good as well as the desserts. The staff is ok. We did it once, why not twice... ☺️

C’est certainement le meilleur restaurant de Corse, non seulement pour les 2 étoiles mais aussi pour l‘ambiance et la magnifique vue sur la baie!
Pour la cuisine je donnerais 1,5 étoiles Michelin, il y a encore du progrès par rapport a d’autres restaurants gastronomiques. Les prix sont assez élevés, un peu limité.
Si on peut se permettre ce petit luxe, OK, sinon il y a des rapports qualité prix bien plus intéressant dans la région.

It is certainly the best restaurant in Corsica, not only for the 2 stars but also for the atmosphere and the magnificent view of the bay!
For the cuisine I would give 1.5 Michelin stars, there is still progress compared to other gourmet restaurants. Prices are quite high, a little limited.
If you can afford this little luxury, OK, otherwise there are much better value for money in the region.

Restaurant très bien situé. Les plats sont tournés vers la mer et bien élaborés mais tous ne peuvent prétendre à une double étoile. Plus inquiétant est le service qui fut loin d’être à la hauteur, surtout dégradé à partir de la mi-repas: fromage non-servi après 45’ d’attente malgré une relance d’un membre du personnel. Mais surtout un défilé des serveurs à une table voisine dont le client leur proposait de partager une bonne bouteille alors qu’il relatait ses expériences … du jamais vu avec deux autres tables en plus de la nôtre qui contemplaient ce petit jeu en attendant d’être servies Dommage car c’est ce que nous aurons retenu :le chef  impuissant ne put qu’acquiescer en sortie de table.

Restaurant very well located. The dishes are focused on the sea and well prepared but not all of them can claim a double star. More worrying is the service which was far from up to par, especially deteriorating from mid-meal: cheese not served after 45' of waiting despite a reminder from a member of staff. But above all a parade of waiters at a neighboring table whose customer offered them to share a good bottle while he recounted his experiences... unheard of with two other tables in addition to ours who were contemplating this little game while waiting to be served. Too bad because that's what we will have remembered: the helpless chef could only nod as he left the table.
