Hotel Les Alisiers is truly a hidden gem, surrounded by beautiful nature with stunning views no matter where you look. You sleep so well in the fresh mountain air, far away from all the hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean, and you immediately feel at home. The breakfast was good, with fresh, local products that give you the energy you need for the day. The area is perfect for hikes, and every turn surprises you with new colors and landscapes. We didn’t have dinner, but chose a delicious bottle of wine with a cheese board instead, which was absolutely wonderful. What really made our stay special were the owners – so friendly and welcoming, and they speak English too. We only stayed for one night in September, but we will definitely be back!

This was a great experience. The location spectacular, the room was big and well furnished and we loved the breakfast too. We did not use the restaurant but apparently is great.

We stayed here during a week long trip to the Alsace region. It was a particularly hot week and going up into the hills was a good choice as it was definitely cooler than down below. I chose Les Alisiers specifically for the half board option and I would absolutely recommend having dinner as part of your stay. The food was simple and delicious. A cold courgette soup to start with hints of cumin and topped with black sesame was a refreshing start to the meal - and was sourced from their garden. This dish was the highlight of the meal for me. Every course that followed was also well prepared and fresh. The service was excellent and the views beautiful. Breakfast the following morning was everything you would expect and more. The couple running Les Alisiers have invested time and energy to make it a special place definitely worth visiting. The room we stayed in was basic but clean.

What a wonderful place to stay at !
Les Alisiers is perched above Lapoutroie, the scenic mountain blue is simply mind-blowing from up there.
Everything was perfect, from the wonderful scenery of the surroundings, to the design/quality of the room and of course the amazing food !

Thank you so much Matthias, Caroline and Ben for making this place what it is, a true gem ! The team is professional and truly passionate about providing a quality stay.

If you want to breath fresh mountain air, relax and enjoy great meals, this place if definitely a must !

We spent an evening in the restaurant on the 18/12/2014, service was far too long ,almost 1hour between each dish, At one point, I asked the MD if the "chef went to kill the pig", Food was good. no view outside because of the night. The room was ok but they add €20 on top because we had Dakota box, it seems to be a habit in France to proceed this way, In the morning beautiful view over the land, breakfast was good but jam was too sweet, a mine of sugar. Otherwise, nice and clean place.Might go back.
