A one Michelin star restaurant with a level of staffing and great service , great food execution and presentation that really desserves two stars. Impeccably balanced flavours with an understanding of molecular techniques. Comprehensive wine list with an extremely knowledgeable sommelier. A spacious rustic decor with modern touches that includes a terrasse in a location that is surrounded by hills and forest. a must go and visit!

Solid cooking and warm services. The ambience is very nice. Some of the combinations are really good whilst some dishes might be too adventurous. We particularly enjoyed the starter with beetroot - excellent flavours! We enjoyed dinner as a whole.

One Michelin star restaurant serving innovative French cuisine in a laid back, rural setting. Here is what I can add:

We arrived for dinner and were seated on the outside terrace first, this is also where we had our aperitif and some nibbles. After this charming intro we were guided in the main dining room located in a refurbished attic of a rural house. Through windows giving sight to the surrounding hillside and the far spaced tables the restaurant has an almost cosmopolitan vibe, which one would not expect given the location.

Same goes for the meal, which was exquisit. Hard to pin down a specific style of cuisine, but generally I would describe the food here as creative, rather light with many vegetables, regional but not shunning away from ingredients from further away (i.e. saltwater fish). The dishes of the menu were consistently good, but standouts were the two fish dishes with trout and red mullet respectively, as well as the main of beef onglet. After a decent cheese selection from the trolley the meal ended with a nice dessert around in season cherries.

The wine list isn't too long but has indeed some very good choices at fair prices and it should be easy to pick something for most preferences. We had an lovel 2002 Cuvee Frederic Emile from Domaine Trimbach. Unfortunately the wine list isn't to be found online by the time of my visit.

If you plan to stay overnight, I found the hotel at the property a very good choice. The rooms are rather small but lovely and come at an excellent QPR.

Overall, a place I can highly recommend for all on their culinary journey through the Alsace region.

Food that is great fun as well as a team in front of the house that made us feel welcome from before the start. The restaurant combines a barny coziness with a modern facelift.
