Unremarkable food. Atrocious service. Stay away from this place.

We had the most disappointing experience at this restaurant.

When I asked if they could make a vegetarian meal, the waitress said the only option was a plate of plain vegetables. So definitely not vegetarian friendly.
The service was bad both as to delivery and attitude. The cheeseboard was a child portion. The steak was rubbery.

At the end of the meal, we asked if they could call us a taxi. The waitress frowned and said, ‘Our taxi is on holiday.’ She eventually called one, but had agreed €120 for just a 15km or 30 euro ride, which was outrageous.

If you value your money and time, strongly encourage you to dine elsewhere.

Overnight stay in Bouzy. Our guesthouse recommended the restaurant.
Extremely flavourful food, local champagne was also delicious. Would recommend.

We were a little concerned to see one very bad review based on service, but the others were all good, and we now affirm the top quality.
Amazing value for such beautiful presentation and super quality at €34 for 3 courses at lunch.
Good choice  in all 3 courses, no-one was disappointed or liked the look of another person’s plate better! The chips with the steak were however especially coveted & shared.

After all the wonderful meals i had all week in the region, this one was a bit of a disappointment. Had the duck and the beef. The carrot puree with the duck was divine. And the potato with the steak was amazing. In other words, the sides outshone the main dishes. Service was great.

We made an impromptu stop en route through France.

The location is very rural and in the heart of Champagne.

Decor is quite minimal and modern which is fine. Food was excellent, I had Escargot then the entrecôte both of which were excellent. My partner had the crab starter again very good. Desert was the Ile Floton.
It was a busy Friday lunch service was spot on swift and efficient. Chef came out to thank guests and engage.
I thought it was a great stop and place to lunch, surprised by the negative comments.
