Did not stay at the hotel.  Excellent meal and service.  Three menu options of 60, 90 and 120 Euros plus a la carte if you wish.  Very good wine list.  Excellent presentation.  Impeccable service. An enjoyable meal. Great location.

This is a Michelin ⭐⭐ restaurant located in the beautiful French countryside. Away from the city you'll experience small, quiet French towns or French communes during the drive from Paris.

The restaurant is directly off the road, drive slow or you'll fly right past it.  You'll need to make reservations and stick to the time!  There's a reason they're spaced such as they are as the courses are timed perfectly to enhance the experience and they don't cook until you begin your course.  The restauranteurs want to ensure they have time to see to your every need & explain the courses set in front of you without feeling rushed to grab plates for the next table. The truth is they won't rush as the 2 star Michelin rating means you'll get an undistracted experience as if you're the only ones in the restaurant.

The wines, champagnes (it is Champagne region), and aged spirits are like no others, but they also have water, sodas, and juice.

There is a nice variety of menu options. You'll get 3 different 4 course meals & there's al a carte options if you'd like to piece together a custom course meal...  There were 5 in our party, we each chose something different covering everything they offered & I can report everything was amazing.  We had the turbot, tuna & graisse de canard as a starter. Fish, beef, or pigeon came as a main. Cheese was served before desserts and the 4 options of desserts are masterfully plated & simply decadent.

The chef comes out to meet each table after the courses are complete when it's time to say goodbye

Plan for 3 to 4 hours, but it's worth every single minute.

Gourmet experience. Had the 3 course menu, foie gras, steak, dessert + tried 2 bottles of burgundy wine while seated outdoor by the small river. Definitely worth a detour.
