Excellent dishes except the desert. Very good deal for 44€ menu for 3 courses. I wish I could come back again. Very beautiful decoration and fast service. My girl and I didn’t finish the desert of waffle which was cold and hard. They should have at least warm it up.
My husband and I ordered 3 glasses of wine to go with dishes, but the waiter only ordered 2 glasses in total for us. After first dish, we informed another waiter about this. She didn’t understand as well and just brought us 2 glasses in total. Too bad…they need to improve English.

Romantic setting in a cute Chateau. Great english speaking service. Nice in-house cooked menu. Multiple choices of wine & Champagne at reasonable prices. When weather allows it, outside tables are available. A must do when in this area between Laon & Reims !

An interest restaurant that stands at the heart of the splendid Domaine de Barive. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant has everything to succeed but it still needs to push some boundaries. However, it's the best in the area.

The entrance to this hotel and restaurant is beautifull.  We enjoyed a 4 course diner. Although we had a nice diner, I would expect more the signature of the chef on the plates of a 1 star Michelin restaurant, certainly when in comparison to other Michelin star restaurants.  My advice; invent and develop tast treasures  from you region and own hands.

Restaurant: still good food as in the last years, but the waiter, when asked about 3 fish dishes shown on the fish menu, talked us into another fish that was outside of that menu and more expensive, without letting us know in advance of the price. We went for his advice but were surprised with the bill after. So an advice: watch the menu exactly when ordering. The cocktail we ordered was almost as good as the last year, but now on a simplified “formula”.
Spa: still good as before, although not all masseuses are exceptionally good really. Problems with lockers, the swimming pool that is slightly run down, and other minor issues. But ok in general.
My general view, not as great as it used to be… Sorry.
