Wij hadden op een zondagmiddag blindelings gereserveerd in het terugkeren van een paar dagen Boulogne-sur-Mer in dit restaurant gelegen in een klein dorpje midden in het platteland van het noorden van Frankrijk. Gelukkig want enerzijds waren alle tafels bezet en anderzijds hebben wij genoten van een superheerlijke maaltijd aan een prijs waarvoor je elders enkel nog een hoofdgerecht kan krijgen. Mooie, lekkere bordjes waarbij alles, zelfs het brood, huisgemaakt is en een wijnkaart met een perfecte prijs/kwaliteit. Geen wonder dat het tjokvol zat. Niet de hipste plaats maar zeker de moeite waard om daar eens te eten.

We had made a blind reservation on a Sunday afternoon returning from a few days in Boulogne-sur-Mer at this restaurant located in a small village in the middle of the countryside of the north of France. Fortunately, because on the one hand all tables were occupied and on the other hand we enjoyed a super delicious meal at a price for which you can only get a main course elsewhere. Beautiful, tasty plates where everything, even the bread, is homemade and a wine list with a perfect price/quality. No wonder it was packed. Not the hippest place but definitely worth eating there.
