I had a lovely dinner here.
The restaurant is very French style with charming decorations.
The food was fine. My French friend said it was good.
The service was ok, but way very busy and rushed all the time so we felt a bit bad to ask when we need something. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed situation.
The minus point is my friend and me had to wait about 45 minutes more, although we had reservation. Very long queue.

Service was terrible. Waiting time is too long for food serve between appetizer and main dishes. Pork nockle its too salty. Server's attitude was terrible. We waited long time to order and he forgot the dishes that we order. He did not ask French locals to pay tips and mention that we can pay 10% tips for him. Food prep was ok and average. The only upside is the historical building and decor here. Good vibe here with lots of people.

We had a table of 9, and having to share from starters to main course! We ordered mackerel, escargot, aubergine, and 2 seafood platter, which was served with baskets of delicious breads! The main course was fish & chips, steak, beautifully cooked fish with vegetables and cream gravy with cockles, that was the highlight of my meal until we ordered the profiteroles! My goodness, you haven’t tried a good one until you’ve had the one from Bofinger! Totally recommending that!

Loved the atmosphere, busy and fast paced, however, food was disappointing, not matching our expectations at all.

The endive salad was good, the rest was average. French fries wasn’t hot, low quality meat (rib eye), nothing special chicken, onion soup with too much bread in it and seemed that it was waiting to be served in a hot holding for some time, and more.

Loved everything except perhaps the tight distance between us and next table. . The server was courteous and gave us recommendation which was chicken confit, a  perfect dish we wouldn’t have ever known . We chose the set menu for €37 well worth it and more . Buzzing energy w room full of guests and happy atmosphere, by 11:00 when we wanted to leave the restaurant refilled again w new guests. Looking forward to visit again.
