Food was delicious. The best duck prosciutto I’ve had (and I’ve tried many). My first time trying veal brain and I loved it, tasted fresh. The beef tartare on nori was also excellent. I really enjoyed their wines by the glass. Staff was friendly, place is cute, fun decoration/ceiling. I also feel the portions were the perfect size. I’ll probably dream of the duck prosciutto.

Incredible food and wine!
We ordered a variety of starters and one main which gave us the opportunity to try a few different dishes.
The food came out quickly and was really fresh. Our dietary needs were catered to as well.
Highly recommend this restaurant!

I really wanted to love this place,  but the whole evening was decent at best. We arrived with a 9:30pm reservation for two people, ordered 4-5 dishes and a bottle of wine, but we were informed that there was a hold on our credit card where we both needed to order a main dish or we wouldn't fulfil the minimum food order requirements for a reservation, even though we didn't really want more than one of the mains. The first few courses were great - the beef tartar and ceviche were absolutely fantastic, one of the foie gras dishes was really tasty... unfortunately the pork chop dish was so overcooked it wasn't worth eating, when we returned it uneaten they were actually annoyed we didn't like it. Honestly, some of the food was fantastic, but I wouldn't go out of your way to eat here.

Overall great experience, the starters were the best out of everything we had, especially the amberjack with ponzu. Small selection of wines by the glass. A bit overpriced. Wouldn’t come here again but can still recommend for a nice evening at a French bistro with a twist

We came here to dine on the last night of our Paris holiday. It came highly recommended, not only online, but from our friends/family who have had stellar meals here as well.

All in all we had a wonderful meal. We were told the head chef is Korean, and we could see the Asian influences in each dish.

With the above being said however, I don’t think we’d come back if we were to vacation in Paris again.

This is because we had better meals at the same or more competitively priced. Plus, there are just so many other restaurants we would like to try or revisit.

Ultimately, we’d recommend for anyone to try Le Clown bar. Objectively, it is a well put together menu and the flavors were novel and exciting!
