This resultant is walking distance from our AirBNB. The outside of it is well kept and inviting. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. It's a true Indian food that can be prepared anyway you wish. From mild to wild. It's a very laid back and friendly experience. My girl and I enjoyed ourselves and our dinner.

Currently Yelp has this restaurant named Goa Mahal - i think it's been a while since they changed names because ever since I moved to issy about a year ago, the place has been called farah mahal.

So for the last year, we would pass by this place constantly but neither my husband nor I felt like going in because of the tacky looking sign. We finally dropped in last week and i was craving for Indian food and my husband reluctantly agreed. He almost changed his mind on the way there but i guess he wasnt that hungry and we trekked on.

Once the food was delivered, my husband said he was so glad he didnt change his mind and that he almost feel like this is the best restaurant he's been to in Paris. He laughed when he said that though because the notion seemed a bit ridiculous. But the food was really really surprisingly good!

We had the Butter Chicken, Saag paneer, and Chicken Biryani. All the dishes were so tasty. Their kashmiri rice wasn't as good though, but they had mango lassi which made up for EVERYTHING.

The service is great too, and the interior is much much better than the exterior. This is going to be our go-to restaurant in issy now!

I was on a business trip and went to Farah Mahal last week as it was conveniently located to the hotel I was staying in.  The food was reasonable but the service was awful.  The 2 men/owner(s) working in the restaurant we very racist/sexist.  They did not welcome me into the restaurant; did not even offer me water; did not smile even once; and made my food a to-go order when I was hoping to sit and eat at the restaurant.  Unbelievable!!
