Nestled in the charming city of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, Antoine is a distinguished restaurant that offers an exceptional dining experience with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. There are lots and lots of restaurant choices in Paris and I am glad I chose to eat dinner at Antoine's. Located near the Seine river on Avenue de New York and and within a few blocks of the Flamme de la Liberté (Princess Diana) memorial, this restaurant also has a nice view of the Eiffel Tower to compliment their Michelin star award.

I am not going to list everything I ordered, so I will simply upload pictures as they are way more descriptive and interesting.

Simply put, the service, food, preparation, ambiance, drinks, and overall dining experience was outstanding.

Excellent service and attention to detail here. Quite pricey though, I'd say come for a special occasion and only if you love seafood and mushrooms, which was featured heavily in all our dishes! 

RESERVATIONS: Easily made online a week in advance for a Friday for two, then changed day off to a Wednesday. 

THE SERVICE: Amazing. A little hard to get a hold of on email (I'm from the States so couldn't call in advance), but they did eventually respond to confirm we could come with our baby. They had a table with plenty of space for a stroller plus a couch by it if I need hangout space. For such a fancy restaurant, I'm impressed how family-friendly they were. Throughout dinner the staff all were so professional, prompt, and friendly, and all spoke English (and they had English menus. The clientele seemed a mix of local and tourists). They accidentally charged us for one of the courses that should've been part of our tasting but noticed before we left.

THE COST: 384 euros for two 6-course dinner tastings plus water, coffee, and 3 glasses of wine. Yes, they charges us 9 euros for a fancy bottle of still water (I didn't realize until we received our check).

THE FOOD:
We got the 6-course dinner tasting (described to us as "it will be a surprise" which was intriguing enough for us to get it!), which came with a couple amuse-bouches and complimentary desserts. Actually, looking through my photos, even accounting for that we got way more than 6 courses! It was a very mushroom-heavy meal. Not sure how accurate the dish descriptions are, but I did my best to make note after each one came out (and some they used the French word

* Cod fish and cucumber (amuse-bouche) - 4 stars
Light and interesting.

* Squid spoon (amuse-bouche) - 3.5 stars
Good earthy flavors.

* Pretzel with sauce - 2.5 stars
Very salty, too crispy. Kind of all about the presentation.

* Catfish with mayonnaise - 3.5 stars
These were nice - light, airy, bready balls. Fishy sauce.

* Mushroom orange flower with raw sea bass - 3.5 stars
Interesting combo, could have used more flavor.

* Dim sum lobster and shrimp, with mint mayonnaise - 4 star
Interesting take on a dumpling, with a chewy texture and liquefied filling.

* Fricasee with wine sauce, Italian cheese 4 stars
A heavier dish, nice savory flavors.

* Sommepierre (?) with curry and haricots - 3.5 stars
Fish overdone, curry sour and interesting, beans were a nice addition.

* Chicken (?) With mushrooms, mashed potato, and foie gras sauce - 4.5 stars
The bird was described as "like a chicken but more elegant". It was super tender, I loved the thin crisped skin, and the flavors were amazing.

* Coffee fondant, buckwheat ice cream - 4.5 stars
Super chocolate-y, very rich, with a crispy thin crust.

* Frozen blackberries (free dessert) - 3.5 stars
Cute trick, these totally look frozen but are artfully sugar-coated! Just not much to it besides that.

* Peanut pecan tart (free dessert) - 4 stars
Nice way to top off the meal, thick smooth peanut filling and candied pecan.

We came here for lunch with 4 adults and 3 little children. The restaurant placed us in the private room which was awesome because we didn't want the kids to distract other patrons.
First off, the service is excellent as expected from a Michelin star restaurant.  All napkins are folded by the staff when you get up to leave the table. 30 second waiting time between my first and 2nd glass of wine when our server noticed my first glass was empty.  There was an army of people waiting to serve you. 
We ordered the prefix menu for lunch which included 3 course meal but the chef gave us 3 amuse bouches so felt like a lot more (48 € per person).
The presentation of each dishes was amazing and interesting.  

The first course was a mullet carpaccio garnishes with a variety of herb spices and lemon zest. There was a citrus extract that goes very well with the sashimi. The second dish was the sear duck breast with the fat rendered perfectly without over cooking the breast keeping it at medium to medium rare.  The sauce for the duck is amazing and added another layer of complexity to the dish.
Lastly is the dessert which I chose the rhubarb. This bedded with a panna cotta layered with a berry sorbet sprinkled of pickled rhubarb and fresh strawberries. ( this was ok for me, the pickled rhubarb has a very sour note).

Overall, I thought that the food was excellent for the price and service that we got. Of interest, we ordered a dish for one kid and a dessert a la carte because there was no kids menu. The price came out to be similar to the adult tasting menu. So may be best to feed them before coming here.

Enjoyed the very filling 8 course meal. Of course his amount of food time to eat. There was no rush and all items very presented in a manner becoming of a Michelin level restaurant. The main waiter took his time in explaining the ingredients in each dish. 

One hiccup. The crustacean plate unfortunately had a piece of hard shell within the bread of the crab. If my teeth were frail I certainly would have broken or chipped at tooth. The piece was significant in seize enough to hand to he waiter for investigation. 

Overall, this cozy, simple, elegant setting has excellent service, great staff communication and good food. Tucked away in immediate viewing distance of the Eiffel Tower afforded hourly entertainment at no additional cost! 
A memorable experience.

I had not known about Antoine until I walked past it. I decided to try it, because the reviews were consistently good and the view had to be sensational based on where it is. It exceeded expectations on all counts.

The highlight is the food. Every dish is presented beautifully, with amazing attention to detail and color schemes. The taste is exquisite, with different flavors that blend together with great subtlety. Our main course was the turbot for two. It was cooked to perfection. Also on the plate was a home made brioche stuffed with seasonal veggies and cheese. My appetizer was a lobster dim sum sitting on a pistachio zabaglione, surrounded by lobster broth. For dessert, I had a vanilla souffle. The waiter recommended a Sancerre to accompany the food, and it was good while being priced correctly.

Every table has an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower. Every hour an the hour, the tower displays blinking and dancing lights. The wait staff was superb and appropriately attentive. They are very good at explaining the menu and at reading their customers' tastes.

Antoine is situated next to the Seine with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. Everyone on the wait staff we dealt with spoke great English and extremely welcoming and attentive even though we were clearly under-dressed (I don't actually think there is a dress code here but we came here on our first full day in Paris and were probably under-dressed for France in general).

My table went with the prix fixe lunch with some champagne and two orders of sea urchin. This turned out to be WAY too much food, especially since the three course prix fixe ended up being closer to 6 courses (including a pre-dessert and post-dessert!). Everything was sensational and every last drop of food was devoured, despite all of us being painfully full by the end. Individually, my favorite two parts of the meal were definitely the amuse bouche, which was some magical combination of artichoke, hazelnut, and a handful of other ingredients, and the pre-dessert, a lemon sorbet with basil mousse, pinenuts, and topped with meringue. What was even more impressive than any individual course was that every course flowed logically from the one before, and the entire dining experience was very cohesive. For example, the pre-dessert, which was bright and acidic, served as the perfect intermission between the main course and dessert course, both of which were very rich. Also, every course seemed to be carefully thought out in terms of not only diversity of flavor and texture, but also aesthetic appeal. Every dish was unbelievably beautiful.

Antoine was the first real meal we had in Paris and it set a nearly impossibly high standard. We ate a lot of delicious things on our trip, but Antoine may have been the most memorable dining experience.

Booked a Saturday Lunch here and was seated at a table close to window. My wife wanted their 138€ tasting menu, but because of dietary reasons I was only able to have the Embrun. Apparently this was not possible as everybody in the same party need to order the same thing. Also note that the 3 dish lunch set is only available on weekdays.  The table beside us were also surprised that everybody has to order the same thing if from the tasting menu and not a la carte.
We end up ordering the Embrun which started with some appetizers include some raw fish and roe and toast. It tasted kind of salty but alright. One of the better dishes was the asparagus which was thick but not old. The monkfish was also tasty and well cooked. There was a sashimi type appetizer that leads to the low score of this review I will explain later. The chocolate dessert consists of a chocolate bark on millefeuille which was not one of the better millefeuille I had in Paris and the other chocolate with some mousse is okay, again had better quality chocolate in this city.

I would have given them a 8 of 10 at this point and indeed leave them  20€ tip for a 181€ bill. What led me to give 5 is my wife got sick 1+ hour after this meal without having eaten anything since Antoine.  I tried reaching out through their contact email and got no response.  This is the only Michelin star resto on our Paris trip and not only did we throw up this expensive meal, we lost a whole day so far due to us getting sick after eating this.

For a restaurant that received a Michelin star, I didn't think either the service or the food lived up to it. Located right across from the eiffel tower, it does have nice views. My parents and I came and took a few pictures prior to our reservation. However, our server did not take the time to explain the dishes to us, and rather just gave us course by course without a word. Every dish is presented well, but it was only the dessert that really stood out to me. Overall, the ambiance of the restaurant is nice and quiet.

Called last minute and ended up with a table near the kitchen (understandable) on the same evening. Staff was attentive and friendly enough-- all spoke English even in response to my broken french. The view of the Eiffel Tower over the Seine is incroyable, white table cloths and upscale dishware. The decor is elegant and simplistic, I especially enjoyed the two-toned cairns serving as center pieces alongside a simple floating candle. 

We ordered the "squid cooked like risotto" and the Cod a la carte.  Both were subtle and delicious. Even though we only ordered these two items (and wine) we were given 4 amuse bouches and 3 small desserts, which were in fact the highlight of the meal. 

Prices are steep. Wear nice clothes.

Personally, i think it is a decent restaurant.  The starters were definitely better presented than my main course. Overall, the presentation was good and elegant; I gave a 8.5/10 for the flavor and creativity and 9/10 for the services. I kind of got the idea of surprises, but it could go wrong. It was my friend's birthday. We ordered exactly the same services, but I got chocolate for dessert, but they gave him the coconut cake ... he did not really like coconut.... I think it would be better if they could pay more attention on the small details. However ,The view of Eiffel Tower was absolutely a bonus.
