We were very happy with meal.  Really cute spot and the staff was super kind.  

We got the steak and fries, the ribs and dessert was cheesecake.  All were very good.  A HUGE plus for us was the bathrooms were clean!!!!   That's been a challenge this trip.  

We didn't discover this place until the end or our trip, otherwise we would have been back.

Cool Bistrot in Paris!! Good burrata for starter, Great Burger, amazing dessert like their caramel Carambar french toast or Speculoos tiramisu, i couldn't pick one so i've had both, NO regret. Nice spot and very good service, yeah yeah in Paris!!
Oh yeah, they have a terrific lunch menu deal!!!

I stumbled upon Les Frangines while we were staying in the Montparnasse area. We went our first night for their happy hour (which is fantastic - pints of Grimbergen or 1664 for 5€), and ended up ordering the fromage plat and the main dish of their ravioli with Parmesan. The hostess and server (she doubled as both) was charming and so kind to us - humoring my French before switching to English, and delivering English menus to us. All the staff seemed fluent in English. Our food was incredible - the portions were perfect, and everything was so fresh. We really enjoyed our huge beers, and just leisurely spending time there.

They have a fantastic petit déjeuner deal as well for 6,90 € - jus d'orange (for presse, add an addition 2€), croissant ou pain au chocolat, tartine with jam/butter/their own homemade version of Nutella, and the boisson chaude of your choice. It was unreal, delicious, and enough to make us come each morning during our stay! We never felt rushed, but also felt that we were very quick in being served. 

Petit déjeuner from Les Frangines became our favorite stop in the mornings, and one of the things we missed the most after we left Montparnasse. I'd HIGHLY recommend Les Frangines!

Visited back in 09/2014 on my wait to the Gare Montparnasse to go to Versailles.  We ordered petit dejeuner for the both of us with freshly squeezed orange juice for about 9-10€/person. They apparently had a cheaper option with pre-squeezed orange juice but I didn't know.  That's about 6-7€/person.

Our petit dejeuner came with freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee/espresso (your choice) on those cute platters they use and sell everywhere in Paris with a big baguette slice, croissant, and accompanying house fruit jam, chocolate-hazelnut spread, and butter for each of us on a small wooden cutting board.

We went on a weekday early morning, about 8 am or so and it's really quaint and peaceful sitting there with their windows all open watching all the shop open up. We stayed just a few minutes down at Atelier Montparnasse.

I wouldn't go out of my way for this place for petit dejeuner since it's pretty standard fare in Paris, but I thought it was a good deal and it was fresh. Go for the atmosphere - the restaurant is so cute!

Ah, this place. 

I don't know if it was the weather, or something in the air that day, but breakfast here felt like a dream you'd have about Paris. Chocolate croissants, baguette with chocolate and jam, and delicious coffee. Friendly, smiling staff. We speak Spanish, but definitely not French, but it didn't matter, their patience and eagerness to help made us smile. If you find yourself in Montparnasse, stop in for a croissant. I'll never understand how they get them to the texture they are. So amazing. I'll never forget this place, and I will be back.

We had a good time here.  It's the quintassential French cafe, casual but good dining.  The have menus in English, but you have to ask for it. (My SO spoke rudimentary French to them, so maybe they thought we could speak French.)

The special is pot de ouef and it is wonderful. It's this pot of soup with beef and yummy goodness. My SO ordered this and would not share, so unfortunately all I got was a couple of bites, despite all my dirty looks and guilt trip.

I got the duck. Good but small.

Service seemed a bit slow (probably my fault because I was starving when we ordered and a tad bit impatient), so -1 star for that. But I would return for brunch in heartbeat.

Firstly don't bother with this place. Waitress hurried us into a seat, we sat for 10 minutes while others who came in after us were served menus, bread and water. We asked for a menu and sat for another 20 minutes. Then we were served water we asked for but the waiter who brought it left it on our table and ran off before we could order and they continued to ignore us. We spotted at-least 5 other waiters/ waitresses so it wasn't lack of staff, and we tried to get the attention of any of them but it was like they were all in their own world. We left and left money on the table for the water which was €6.50. When we left the waitress immediately looked over to our table to check we had paid for the overpriced water but didn't say anything else.... Do not waste your time!!

It's cute, but we waited over an hour just to have our order taken and over another hour just to get it.  2 cheeseburgers and an oeuf cocotte.  Why. Why would it take 2 hours just to have something in my mouth? WHY!?!?!??!??!??!??!??!????,??,??!:&&3&2'qkkwndlqkndndkkrkendmwjhdnd.  

En plus, c'était vraiment trop chère.

Cute bistro in Montparnasse with absolutely delicious food! I had the Salade de Chevre with toast, walnuts & honey vinaigrette and Salmon Tartare with pommes de terre. Both dishes were fantastic. The price for the prix fixe dinner menu was super reasonable. Service was speedy and friendly.
