If you are staying at the hotel I would Daphne recommends stopping by and grabbing breakfast at least one day during your stay. A little bit pricey for a hotel breakfast but it's well worth it really good food really good options.

Had several breakfasts and dinner at the Novotel Cafe during our two night stay in Paris. 

Dinner on our first night consisted of crusty bread, pumpkin soup,  chicken and tiramisu. The pumpkin soup lacked flavour. The chicken was very overcooked to the point of being largely inedible. Thankfully the sauce helped to make it a bit more palatable. The ladyfingers in the tiramisu were drenched in coffee, imparting a wetness and heaviness to the dessert that is normally supposed to be creamy and light. The staff serving dinner seemed put out with requests for butter or wine glasses.

Breakfasts were better. They were served buffet style. There was an assortment of cheeses, deli meats, sausage, and bacon. There were also waffles, croissants, and a good selection of breads and spreads to choose from. The scrambled eggs tasted like they came out of a carton and were very runny. Fruit (orange & grapefruit segments) seemed to be hidden behind the maître d. They have 2 coffee machines, located on opposite sides of the dining area, where you can obtain espresso, cafe au lait, hot chocolate, and hot water. They have a nice selection of Kusmi teas.

Overall I'd recommend breakfast here but suggest considering lunch or dinner elsewhere.

I sadly have to offer some negative feedback in the form of the review for this Novotel Cafe, one of the main dining areas in the Novotel Tour Eiffel Hotel, where breakfast is served in the morning between 6am and 9:30am, albeit on weekends it is served until 11am but I hate to report, coming here in the morning was one of my worst parts of my stay at the Novotel as the breakfast was very poor.

The buffet selection was very small, with basically only one type of egg, being Scrambled Egg, or a hard boiled egg, omelettes were available on request but this was not publicly advertised, and the omelette I tried was just terrible, and even though it has cheese on, it just tasted bland and very poor.

I also was upset there was a lack of gluten free food, such as gluten free bread, or even a fried or poached egg which was frustrating, even baked beans were not stocked here, and it raised a smile when a few servers couldn't even understand what they were, which is quite a common thing to go with your breakfast back here in the United Kingdom!

The cafe area was okay, it wasn't really nice and the staff basically left you to it, they didn't offer you any coffees or teas to your table, and even the range of tea was dissapointing, and the coffee simply just tasted awful and cheap, which was a shame.

This Novotel Cafe, is one of the biggest things that lets the hotel down in general while considering the lift issues and dirty carpets also playing a main part.

While also considering how queuing was dealt with at peak times, I can't think of many good reasons to give this place anything over a one star, as on most mornings I just had to have a giant plate of Scrambled Egg, which still was merely satisfactory as it just tasted too creamy yet in a way a little bland, and there were bites which just tasted crunchy, not stirred and inedible giving it a low quality feeling, and like it had been rushed.

For a hotel chain, the restaurant delivers deliciously prepared dishes at 'reasonable' Parisian prices.

I have dined here other times when the weather outside was very poor and have.been happily surprised and pleased with the results.

This time tried a prix fixe of a wonderful and delicious filet if cod.  It was preceded by a beautifully prepared endive and beet salad.  There are several other options available instead of the salad. I added a cup of excellent fish soup and paired it all with a glass of reasonably priced delicious Chardonnay.

breakfast is mediocre. So was dinner there.  Staff is friendly and kind but the food is lacking. Service at dinner was quite slow.  The breakfast buffet was further overshadowed by rude clientele who sadly wasted a lot of food and shoved other patrons in the path between them and the food display (for 5 days...)

I expected more from the hotel restaurant. The hotel itself was great, but the restaurant menu seemed lacking. I came here with a tour group and upon arrival, we noticed that a few other friends of ours from the tour group were seated on one side of the restaurant. The server seated us on the opposite side, where the tables touched our knees and seemed much more suitable for cocktails, despite the restaurant being decently empty. The chairs and mini coffee tables were much too casual for dinner. We thought maybe the other side was reserved, except other friends from our group kept being seated on that side upon arrival. The server was unfriendly and dismissed us immediately. He seemed annoyed with us, although we did not put in any requests besides ordering a food and drink. Of the half page of dinner options, I picked the steak only to be informed that it was out of stock. He was unapologetic and straightforward. The service was kind of slow, and again, this would be understandable had the place been busy. It was not. If there were more restaurants in the area, we would definitely be dining elsewhere.
