My husband and I had one night to ourselves on a group trip and we had no plan or reservations. After reading the reviews below, we were intrigued and knew it was within walking distance. 
Being unable to speak much French, the staff was very patient and were great about speaking English and accommodating us with no reservations. The decor was urban and raw and we loved how small and intimate it was. We decided to go the tapas route and enjoyed delicious guacamole, Italian tartine, and sliders. The dessert was two scoops of ice cream - house made blood orange and caramelized nut - simply amazing. Would recommend for a hip, local feel in Paris. Great service and food.

Waited more than 30 min for room temperature soup and fries. Fries were not even salted. Everything was lukewarm, it was a very unpleasant experience. Only saving grace was the croutons and the cauliflower soup was nice, albeit cold.

Four stars for the food, ambiance, and service. 

Walking down Rue du Daunou after a failed attempt to have dinner at Pascade with no reservations. The prawns and guacamole caught our attention from the menu posted at the window. Going in the place looked very interesting which was the main topic of conversation throughout the night. It had the feel of a new york soho lounge/restaurant. The name Arty was so appropriate as we observed unusual pieces of art and decor. From what seemed like the frame of a garage door to the wall art that looked like andy warhol but with louis vuitton lips, to the unexpected teddy bear sitting at a corner space on the wall and the verse that made no sense but sounded nice. 

The prawns were very good, mojito mangue perfect, goat cheese with salad great, and the dessert, mango ice cream with thinly sliced almonds, pomegranate and some coconut puree was excellent!

Highly recommendable place and worth coming back for.

We went into this restaurant after watching a ballet at the Palais Garnier, we had wonderful service. I ate the bacon burger, it was great. What I love about Paris restaurants is that I know food takes a while to be brought to the table, but it's always perfect. Great food, great waitresses, great service

Delish! It takes a while to get your food so don't come here for lunch if you're in a hurry.

We stumbled upon this and thank god we did! Love the service, atmosphere, the food was made with love. Most of the street Cafés I found to be generic and tasteless. We had the Mexican burger, with house ketchup and the steak with mozzarella for appetizer and loved it! Food is made with love and it was less expensive than the tourist cafés.

Walked in off the streets and ate at this restaurant.   It was very good and one of the best places we have eaten in paris. Had ribs, tuna and burgers were fantastic.   Service was not the best and the reason for the 4 stars.
